CNN’s media reporter seems to like every tweet arguing the media need to do a better job treating Republicans like America’s No. 1 national security threat
This @brianklaas thread is typically unhinged. Brian starts w/ the false supposition America is one grand “national democracy” and that anything cutting against progressive attempts at remaking the United States is “authoritarian” and thus a threat
The reality, of course, is the opposite. The United States is federal republic, and efforts to undermine this constitutional structure are precisely the reason political polarization is ever-increasingly ruining our everyday lives.
People are like Klaas are so consumed by their ideology they either can’t see, or simply don’t care to see, how they’re the ones staking out the more “extreme” position.
Klaas dresses his activism up as an effort to “save democracy” from Republicans; more accurately these efforts should be viewed as a means of using the national media to normalize their radicalism.

Twitter banned me again, this time for circulating accurate information from the CDC.
If any lawyers out there might be interested in suing Twitter, holler at your boy. (For censoring conservative journalists in obvious defiance of their own terms & conditions, I think they're committing fraud.)
3) “The bill still expands government subsidies to Obamacare exchange plans and the rich; undercuts private, employer-based coverage; undermines non-Obamacare options; expands the size and scope of an overextended Medicaid program” dailysignal.com/2021/11/09/wit…
Obama opens his World Climate Summit remarks on a familiar theme
At #COP26 in Glasgow, Obama takes shots at Trump: “Of course some of our progress stalled when my successor decided to unilaterally pull out of the Paris agreement in his first year in office. I wasn’t real happy about that."
In Glasgow, Obama hits Republicans: Biden and I "have been constrained in large part by the fact that one of our two major parties has decided not only to sit on the sidelines, but express active hostility toward climate science, and make climate change a partisan issue."
@brikeilarcnn@GlennYoungkin@KirstenPowers CNN’s Nia-Malika Henderson (@niaCNN) on Va.: "We see the enduring power of the culture wars. It is essentially white identity politics that works for Republicans."
Oh, hey. It’s me! Just back from a one-week Twitter suspension for telling a joke.
Even as I didn’t break any Twitter rules, I’m actually glad this happened.
Why?
Because it proves everything @Twitter tells the public, the government, and its investors … is a lie. /1
@Twitter First, let me explain what (ostensibly) led Twitter to suspend me. For those who didn’t hear me on w/ @DLoesch, last Monday I saw Andy Slavitt commenting on that day’s passing of Colin Powell. He said the lesson of his death was that everyone should get vaccinated. /2
@Twitter@DLoesch I replied, as I’m sure many others were thinking, with a sarcastic joke that I won’t repeat here as jokes apparently violate community guidelines. (You can read it here if interested: foxnews.com/media/twitter-…) /3
