Doocy: Is Vice President Harris still in charge of addressing the root causes from migration from El Salvador, Honduras, & Guatemala?

Psaki: She is & I just announced a commitment...this afternoon.

Doocy: So, why hasn't she spoken to the president of Guatemala since June?

Doocy: "Do you think it's possible that big cities are dealing with these smash and grab robberies, an increase in criminal activity b/c some prosecutors are too soft on crime?"

Psaki says she "won't attribute the reasoning from here," but then reiterates it's tied to Covid.

#BREAKING: Chris Wallace announces he's QUITTING Fox News and 'Fox News Sunday.' Today was his last show.

My bet? He's going to CNN+.

Here's my logic -- CNN will need talent to fill airtime as Discovery takes over and who knows what changes they'll make.

Along with holes I'm their regular programming, nothing has really been announced for CNN+ besides Kasie Hunt's show.

Chris Wallace would be their big "get"

DOOCY TIME: "A handful of key aides have announced either that they are leaving the Vice President's office or are reportedly going to be...soon. Is the Vice President not satisfied with the staffing that she has...or do people just not want to work for her anymore?"

Doocy: "So, this is not a case of bad headlines about the Vice President and a decision being made to shake up the staff to fix an image issue?"

Psaki says Symone Sanders "is whip smart and "will do plenty of interesting things in the world" in her future.

Doocy: "Does [Harris] think that staff are to blame for her not making any kind of meaningful progress on the big things in portfolio, like passing voting rights or addressing the root causes of migration?"

Psaki: "I know the Vice President is grateful to all the staff[.]"

Joy Reid dismisses pregnancy as both ugly and a nuisance to humanity: "Pregnancy can actually be dangerous to a women's health, esp. when you live in a country like the United States, which has the worst rate of maternity deaths in the entire developed world."

Reid: "To say it's okay to ban abortions in the poorest state with...one in five [women]...are not insured, to say it is fine, make them carry the baby to term, they can leave it at the fire house when they're done, is so dismissive of everything that pregnancy is about"

Joy Reid: "[T]his movement shouldn't be called pro-life. It should be called get them born and then it's your problem b/c...they don't want to spend money on education. They will not expand ObamaCare, so people don't have insurance."

DOOCY TIME: "Before Joe Biden was president, he said that covid travel restrictions on foreign countries were 'hysterical,' 'xenophobia,' and 'fearmongering.' So, what changed?

Psaki demands Doocy "pull it in full context," which was Biden condemning a Trump tweet, not the ban

Doocy: "We saw the President shopping indoors on Saturday behind glass that says face coverings acquired, but his face was uncovered. Why?

Psaki: He "follows the recommendations and the advice of the CDC. I don't know what the circumstances were of that particular moment."

Doocy: "He was shopping in a store and on the glass outside, it said 'face covering required' & we could see him inside and his face was uncovered."

Psaki: "Well, again, Peter, our recommendation and advice continues to be for people to wear masks when they are required..."

Doocy: "Is the President going to stop saying that the Build Back Better plan does not increase the deficit one single cent we now know that's not true."

Pskai: "It is true. And I would note that several economists and experts out there" agree

Doocy: "Biden himself in 2010 called" the CBO "the gold standard for Democrats & Republicans."

Psaki: "Well, Peter, since we're all here to communicate w/the public about accurate information...They still scored it but it's undervalued by the assessment of many economists[.]"
