TN is seeing increasing sexual assault crimes against school children off late. Some children have taken their life, some killed & some burned by the perpetrators of the crime!
This is very very disturbing and crimes of these nature are as serious as crime against humanity.

The school authorities have to play an important role in picking up any signs of disturbance in a child’s mind. For a teacher, this is must & doable!
Psychologically watch for abnormal behaviours in their routines, immediately alert their parents & police authorities.

Police to activate their beat system and press women officers to school areas. They are to interact frequently with children in a school function or with the school authorities. This in turn generates a sense of security for the children and fear for the future perpetrators

The online teaching system has blurred the line between privacy and class room setting. It’s very sad to see some of the sexual assault cases where teachers are the primary accused. The fear of anonymity & the power factor of being a teacher needs to be curbed!

NGO’s & other social organisations to immediately get into schools and start educating about - Good touch & Bad touch to students so that the power of being a senior & relatives is not used for assaulting a student. Teachers also need to talk to students about this!
