Love it when people send me ideas for new projects. Sure, I'd love to! It's not like I'm busy doing all the shit I already do or anything! Ideas are *extremely* cheap: time and money. That's what I need.
I understand techy people get this when their friends casually go 'I've had an idea for an app you could build!' - authors/bloggers get it with 'you should write a book/TV show about X' or 'start a website where you...' or 'ask people about Y and then write it up!'
Sorry, I know this is grumpy, but it's the week before Christmas and I am in a panic about not getting enough content written/scheduled to keep things afloat till Jan. So suggesting 'You should create X brand new thing!!' no matter how well-meant, is exhausting right now.
I am honoured that people would like me to do more stuff, and I would LOVE to. But what I really need is for people to please buy some of the stuff I already offer, then when I'm making enough I have time for new things!
