The line up for COVID-19 travel express testing at 630am. Left line for people flying today, right for those not flying today. This isn’t the regular test clinic, this is the paid travel test. #CovidTesting#PCR#Sydney
Behind me. I had only been here 10 minutes at this stage.
Actually a really smooth experience. They will check youve paid and that you have a flight ticket. Bring your passport and they'll scan it to make sure your travel document is accurate.
38 minutes arrival at car park, to completion of test
Parking cost another $19 so factor that in.

1) again, shift in date sprung on us without a heads up to order stock or prepare staffing. We can't administer what we don't have
2) change fortnightly ordering of multidose vials to more ad hoc- was always going to be hard to know what we needed when demand was lower - easy to under order or over order out of fear in rule changes in a fortnight
3) people getting SMS from @NSWHealth saying they are due for their 5 month dose, BEFORE they are due and being furious they aren’t yet, and us copping the abuse and 1 star reviews for it - sms received today - 2nd dose 25/7/21. (5d early)
GP Vax Rollout 1/8
To help vax rollout, we need help from a bigger group of ppl. Final year nursing, pharmacy, paramedic etc students should be allowed to help with drawing up of doses in the GP setting under supervision from a regstd health prof. @brookmanknight@healthgovau
GP Vax Rollout 2/8 @NSWHealth has recognised this and is advertising for and employing this vital group.
GP Vax Rollout 3/8
They can draw up, help prepare, and even administer vaccinations under supervision. In GP there isn't even guidance/allowance for non nursing or non doctors to assist. We've had pharmacists ask if they can help, but they can only do it in a pharmacy.
