I call bullshit. Trump deliberately replaced top leadership at the Pentagon. Secondly had any elected officials been killed or kidnapped, Yeah, that would be a crisis and finally expecting the Capitol police to protect a federal facility from thousands of yahoos. Nope.

Mercenaries out. Rwandans in. ISIS sorted and nobody is bribing or profiting from human misery. Let's hope it remains that simple when African nations needs help.
As you guessed, it's not that simple. Rwandan troops effectively dispersed ISIS and they regrouped. Rwandan and state sponsored assistance is preferred to ramshackle mercenaries but at some point outside forces will use the insurgency for leverage. allafrica.com/stories/202112…

Been deliberately watching Bad Christmas movies (career woman goes on vacation, meets grumpy whatever, falls in love etc..) that have nothing to do with Christmas. Watched George C. Scott in Scrooge and then thought, what is the best modern Christmas film made in the last decade?

Dickens, like Conrad first published his novella in the papers. Major success. Reads and watches well to this day. The cautionary tale to enjoy life and those around you is timeless. Just as Conrad's Heart of Darkness did. Both are the same story.
