This is fake news. But we see the same problem, where right-wing pundits with bad reading comprehension skills and no scientific literacy misrepresent studies they don't understand.
The study shows the opposite: vaccination makes Covid milder. That's good
The ONS study only looks at people who test positive for Covid, the majority of whom are unvaccinated, only a minority vaccinated
And it shows that unvaxxed and positive are more likely to have Delta (more dangerous), whereas vaxxed and positive more likely have Omicron (milder)
To correct this fake news, it should say:
According to new ONS data, the triple-vaccinated are 4.5 times more likely than the unvaxxed to have the milder Omicron strain instead of Delta *if they test positive* (but they're much less likely to be positive)
Right-wing US corporate lobby group AS/COA, which is funded by most major US corporations, is not at all scared of Chile's new liberal President-elect Gabriel Boric
Right-wing corporate lobby group @ASCOA is funded by this Who's Who of US corporations
It reassured them that Chile's new President-elect Boric is not a threat. He promises "fiscal responsibility," won't redistribute wealth, and emphasizes “dialogue” and “consensus” (like Obama)
It's historic that the Chilean people voted overwhelmingly against a far-right candidate who represented Pinochet's legacy, but don't let this blind you to the fact that millennial liberal Gabriel Boric is far from being some kind of leftist revolutionary
Russia and China are developing an alternative to the US-controlled global financial system, to weaken US sanctions

The increasing political and economic integration of China and Russia into a Eurasian bloc is a huge historical watershed moment:
President Xi Jinping just met with Russian President Vladimir Putin for a virtual summit, ***for the 37th time since 2013*** globaltimes.cn/page/202112/12…
China and Russia signed a roadmap for closer military ties, pointing to the increasingly frequent US strategic bomber flights near both countries’ borders
To try to compete with China, which is building high-quality infrastructure, the USA announced its plan to supposedly "help" Central America:
$1.2 billion of investment by exploitative US corporations like Pepsi, Cargill, Parkdale Mills, Microsoft, etc. infobae.com/america/eeuu/2…
If you want to know why countries are partnering with China, it's not because of coercion; it's because Beijing doesn't meddle in their affairs and builds top-notch infrastructure, while the US forces them to impose neoliberal policies and sends in its corporation to exploit them
China: We will build world-class infrastructure in your country and won't impose conditions or meddle
USA: You need to cut wages, slash social spending, and privatize your resources, and we'll tell our corporations to "invest" (ie, exploit your people)
This case of a small city in California seceding is just the beginning. The USA is an extremely unstable country, with enormous, irreconcilable internal contradictions.
It's only a matter of time until the US empire's balkanization policies come home vice.com/en/article/y3v…
The idea of the USA as an unchanging bloc of 50 states from Atlantic to Pacific is very new, historically, and it will change.
As a genocidal settler-colonial project, the US constantly expanded, stealing half of Mexico in 1848, colonizing Hawaii and making it a state in 1959.
The kind of separatist campaigns the US empire has constantly promoted abroad to balkanize countries -- like in Yugoslavia, the USSR and then Russian Federation (Chechnya), China (Tibet and Xinjiang), etc. -- will eventually come home.
The capitalist system is built on organized crime, from drug trafficking to human trafficking
The US is the heart of that system. From its drug rings in the Golden Triangle & Central America to this, Capitalism's Invisible Army (CIA) keeps capital flowing
An exit poll shows candidate Xiomara Castro of the leftist Libre Party winning the presidential election in Honduras today, with 11% more than the candidate of the right-wing National Party (the party of the US-backed coup regime)
