The list of SARS viruses is long and has a lot of really long words, but it's simply: "severe acute respiratory syndrome." If you have COPD you know how it feels if you get bronchitis. It's NOT FUN! I have COPD, not related to smoking...

I digress... Remdesivir, so far the only thing I've found refers to it as an "investigative drug" that has been found to inhibit the virus' ability to replicate.

Here's a study, there's a "No Conflict of Interest" statement by all of the virologists involved, however, looking at the names one does not have to venture too far into the "Land of Assumptions" to recognize that the Dr.'s all appear to be Chinese.

Meaning, quite simply: the long-term effects of this drug are not known.
