Omni-Man vs Puri Puri Prisoner (S-class 17)
Winner: Omni-Man
Puri Puri Prisoner is very strong, fast, and durable, but he just isn’t in Omni-Man’s weight class. He’s likely more comparable to Monster Girl.
Omni-Man vs Tanktop Master (S-class 16)
Winner: Omni-Man, probably
Tanktop Master is also extremely strong, fast, and durable, but not in Omni-Man’s weight class. However, TTM is a highly skilled combatant. It is possible he could defeat Omni-Man using e.g. holds, but unlikely.
Omni-Man vs Metal Bat (aka Bad; S-class 15)
Winner: Metal Bat
Bad is very strong, fast, durable, and has tremendous skill with his bat. He isn’t in Omni-Man’s weight class by default, but his already S-class power is amplified by the fact HE GETS STRONGER THE MORE HE FIGHTS.
Metal Bat’s true power lies in his almost unlimited ability to become more powerful the more his “fighting spirit” is aroused. The more you hit him, the stronger he gets, a bit like the Hulk, and again like the Hulk, this seems to have no upper limit.
So the only question is: Could Omni-Man take Metal Bat out before MB becomes strong enough to defeat him?
I think not, since Metal Bat is BY DEFAULT already incredibly durable and skilled in absorbing/deflecting damage.
I give this one to Metal Bat. Unless OM surprises him.
Omni-Man vs Genos (S-class 14)
Winner: Omni-Man
I adore Genus, but as we know, his limits are a function of his current upgrades, and as he stands now, I don’t see any way for him to effectively incapacitate Omni-Man, not in a way OM couldn’t heal quickly or shrug off.
Omni-Man vs Flashy Flash (S-rank 13)
Winner: Flashy Flash
I hold the theory that Flashy Flash is ranked FAR TOO LOW by the Hero Association. He’s more like 3 or 4 than 13. Evidence: in the current Manga issue 154, he takes on Platinum Sperm and Awakened Garou in a 3-way fight.
And so far, Flashy Flash is holding his own with Platinum Sperm and Awakened Garou — and this without his weapon.
Platinum Sperm incapacitated Atomic Samurai, Puri Puri Prisoner, and Zombieman with one, seemingly casual, blow.
PS and Garou appear to be at least in area of Tatsumaki or Blast. I’m not sure, but it appears that Saitama will be the only one who can stop Garou, unless Blast gets involved.
The point is, Flashy Flash can move at 40-60% the speed of light AND has insane combat training.
FF would not let himself be caught by Omni-Man in the way Red Rush was, and Flashy Flash besides is already super-strong and durable, in addition to being the fastest being on the planet (or close) and one of *the* most skilled combatants.
I think he’d take Omni-Man apart.
Omni-Man vs Watchdog Man (S-class 12)
Winner: ???
I’m going to have to say “no idea” here. I don’t think we have enough information about Watchdog man, and no way to even guess, since he’s such an odd hero.
WDM regularly takes out high-tier monsters, more than any other hero.
One thing I’m looking forward to in OPM is learning more about Watchdog Man. He’s so weird and interesting!
Omni-Man vs Superalloy Darkshine (S-class 11)
Winner: stalemate
As far as I can tell, nothing physical (short of a Saitama punch, if that even is physical anymore) and harm Darkshine. But his damage output, while likely able to seriously injure Omni-Man, wouldn’t be enough.
As Darkshine says, even he doesn’t know how to hurt himself (although we found out that Vomited Fuhrer Ugly’s acid will work). But Omni-Man has only physical attacks, and Darkshine wouldn’t fall to those. But at the same time, Darkshine couldn’t put Omni-Man down.
Darkshine would be able to wear Omni-Man down if OM’s stamina depleted faster than his stamina recovery, but I don’t think it does in a fight with Darkshine.
I could be wrong about that, though.
Omni-Man vs Pig God (S-class 10)
Winner: ???
Another one I just can’t say. It depends on how impervious to damage Pig God is. Is he like the Blog, able to absorb way more damage than he can put out? I don’t see a means for him to take out Omni-Man. Can he tank Omni-Man punches?
Omni-Man vs Drive Knight (S-class 9)
Winner: Omni-Man
Drive Knight’s strength lies in his versatility in being able to change form, but I think he trades versatility for direct power — as far as I know, he has no form that could go toe to toe with Omni-Man. It wouldn’t go well.
Omni-Man vs Zombieman (S-class 8)
Winner: Omni-Man
While Omni-Man would lack the means to kill Zombieman outright, he could certainly disable him easily, and, I don’t know, throw him into the sun. ONE has said Zombieman’s regeneration has limits around e.g. disintegration.
Omni-Man vs King (S-class 7)
Winner: King
This one DEPENDS. It depends on what King’s powers are and how they work. We, the readers, know that King does not have the super strength that everyone thinks he does. He is, in that respect, just a regular man.
But if you hold the theory that King *does* have powers, and that King’s power is the most overpowered meta-power you can think of, namely, that “Whoever he needs to win a fight for him arrives and does” — then King can’t lose. If need be, Saitama shows up and defeats his foe.
I do hold that theory.
So, if Omni-Man were to seriously try to fight King, Saitama (or Blast or someone) would just “happen to be there” to defeat Omni-Man.
That’s how I would bet, anyway.
Omni-Man vs Metal Knight (Dr. Bofoi; S-class 6)
Omni-Man vs Child Emperor (S-class 5)
Winner: ???
I’m doing these together because they are both “brawn vs brains.” Bofoi and CE are both geniuses. Could one or both develop anti-OM countermeasures? I can’t rule it out or in.
We really don’t know how much firepower Dr. Bofoi has. The Hero Association ranks him at 6, and *we know* that he isn’t forthcoming to them about all he can really do. So we should regard “6” as wildly low, very likely.
There’s a reason Lex Luther is Superman’s no. 1 villain.
Omni-Man vs Atomic Samurai (Kamikaze; S-class 4)
Winner: Atomic Samurai
Omni-Man isn’t invulnerable; he’s just really hard to hurt. But Atomic Samurai can cut damn near anything. And he’s superhumanly strong and fast and is a master-master swordsman.
Omni-Man vs Bang (Silverfang; S-class 3)
Winner: Bang
Bang is a supreme martial artist who specializes in re-directed attacks back at attackers. He is so fast and strong that I see no direct way Omni-Man could touch him, whereas he could certainly touch Omni-Man.
Maybe Omni-Man could throw a mountain at Bang, that he wouldn’t be able to deflect/dodge, but any direct attack will be redirected back at him, and Bang can likely hurt Omni-Man be targeting pressure points and other weak spots. Viltrimites do have those, the inner ear especially
Omni-Man vs Tatsumaki (S-class 2)
Winner: Tatsumaki
Tatsumaki is repeatedly shown to be MUCH STRONGER than, well, anything she faces. I think she’s powerful enough of a psychic to take Omni-Man is a straight power to power contest.
Omni-Man vs Blast (S-class 1)
Winner: Blast
We still know next to nothing about Blast — except he is known to be INSANELY POWERFUL. No one, not even Tatsumaki, disputes that Blast is way more powerful than Tatsumaki.
OPM seems to suggest than only Saitama could take on Blast and win, and that’s because Saitama can take on *anyone* and win.
I think several of OPM’s S-class heroes can take Omni-Man on and either defeat him or stalemate him.
Likely only Blast just outright wrecks Omni-Man in a fight.
But this is (a) fiction and (b) two different fictional worlds, so there really is no common measure here.
Maybe I’m wrong and Omni-Man is MUCH MORE POWERFUL than any of One Punch Man’s S-class heroes.
This is a case where there just is no truth of the matter — since there is no reality independent of the fiction to make a “what would happen if … ?” true.
It’s like asking who is the greater detective, Sherlock Holmes or Batman?
You can’t really get a non-arbitrary answer. You can get a rap battle, tho:
Anyway, if you disagree with my take, tell me why and I’ll think about it.
Now, I have to tend to a sick kitty, who wants to be in my arms — something that precludes typing.
/FIN thread
Epilogue: the VS Battles Wiki rates Omni-Man at around High 6-A “multi-continent level” and Tatsumaki at Low 5-B “small planet level.”
That tracks with my intuition that Omni-Man would fall somewhere around S-class 5 or 6 or thereabouts.

As you can tell from the anecdote, two lines forbid people with covid from going in, but the vaccinated line is indifferent to whether you have covid or not. All that matters there is your vaccination status.
If you are vaccinated, it is fine to carry in a live case of covid.
So, to get in to the event, you can either (a) not have covid or (b) have covid but be vaccinated.
Does this double standard make sense? How is it just? Or sane?
Trans ideology is a legacy of Descartes — and Kant — in that it holds there is some kind of sexed “spirit” or ghost that lives inside the sexed body, and can be sexed oppositely to the body.
One claims to be a woman if one’s “ghost” is “female” — even though one’s body is male.
No one, as far as I am aware, has ever come ever close to giving a coherent account of what it MEANS to say “My living body is male, but I am not male. I am in reality a female, despite my factical embodiment.”
What could this possibly mean? One has a sexed “spirit”?
It isn’t clear, if one’s body is male, what it could even mean to say that one is “really” female. What is female? Not one’s body, by definition. What, then?
One’s soul/spirit/ghost in the machine? Is that what an “identity” refers to? Really?
This is true. The *constant* lies about #GamerGate were a massive red pill for me. My attitude of default mild skepticism toward most media transformed into one of default distrust. I take *most* media reports with as much faith as emails telling me I’ve inherited millions …
This is KEY.
Woke / Critical Social Justice isn’t well-meaning and it isn’t honestly mistaken.
It is EVIL and needs to be understood as such. Some people might be duped by its moralistic rhetoric at first, but no one stays in it unless they *enjoy* hurting people.
This is the main commodity Woke / Critical Social Justice sells, after all: a license to hurt people without consequence and with a deep feeling of moral self-righteousness.
Pleasure in hurting the weak and defenseless is an irresistible drug to some human types.
Woke repudiates principles. It must, because the same act has a different moral value depending on the identities of the agent and patient. This is always, necessarily, arbitrary. But arbitrary rules always foster tyranny, which depends on such arbitrary rules.
Woke — and Woke compatible doctrines, like CRT — reject Kant’s universalizability test of moral maxims. Because Woke maxims can’t pass it, no more than other racist or bigoted maxims — their ESSENCE is their exclusion of the demonized outgroup.
Universalizability is one key test of a moral maxim: can we make a particular maxim a universal principle?
The claim is that an “objective morality” is “any moral system with a non-mind-dependent standard.” And it is trivially easy to select such a standard.
The problem is that the SELECTION is subjective.
So I can claim that morality is based on "how much the nearest feather weighs.”
That would yield objective, indeed, measurable standards.
But it wouldn’t really, because the objective standard is erected arbitrarily and subjectively.
LAPD release shocking footage of shooting that killed teen bystander
Watch it before YT bans it.
I saw some dimwit going on about how shooting was overreaction to a guy with a bike lock, but it was not. This guy was severely beating random, innocent people. Shooting was definitely warranted. A bike lock used so is a deadly weapon.
