Another example of the abuse I get. This was for my letter where I guaranteed an Omicron surge. Just ad hominems again from these conflicted people. I think this person is an economist?

T cell mediated viral control is attenuated by orf6 and orf8 in covid-19

For this reason T cell memory is not sufficient in the prevention of mild and moderate covid-19, as seen with AZN vaccine efficacy versus antibody escape variants like Beta (B1351) nature.com/articles/s4146…
This lack of effective viral control despite t cell memory means NPIs and infrastructure like clean air are required. If we could completely rely on immunological memory we would not need boosters or masks after 1 vaccine or infection
People that overstate cellular immunity in the role of disease prevention of covid-19 undermine the urgency in which these changes are required

To claim B and T cell memory completely suffice suggests that no changes are needed

And you are strawmanning my argument. I said they are a double-edged sword, responsible in part for control AND disease
Any t cell immunologist should know when you downregulate MHC 1 the virus- specific cd8s will not encounter their epitopes... pnas.org/content/118/23…

Really tired about hearing how seroconversion will end the pandemic of sars cov 2.

All it ended was the efficacy of the monoclonals.

Think about it
And if this isn't obvious to you then you shouldn't pontificate about immunology.

And if conserved epitopes of T-cells are your ace in the hole in this pursuit then you are too stupid to see t cells did nothing for mild and moderate illness as shown in the AZN south africa trial

Nice one here. You guys are right, it gets worse for the animals with evolution. It adapts to us faster than we can adapt to it, if you get what I'm saying.
Yea, it gets worse for the mice. You know an animal it probably doesn't get worse in? Bats. They have interferon signaling to deal with this kind of nasty virus
