Nah, this pre-dates the new CEO. It started somewhere between ‘18-20 for me. My follow count had a pretty precipitous rise well into the 1st year of the DT apocalypse but by ‘18 there was a very obvious pause & I started noticing the “unfollow on my behalf w/out consent” fuckery.
But in complete fairness, I haven’t 100% hated it. 🙃🤭 Despite the subject matter of my content, I really do encounter relatively few MAGA or alt-left trolls and bots. It’s a double edged sword because I want y’all to see my tweets too but I also want to do it in PEACE. 🤷🏾‍♀️
The REAL solution is they need to #BanTheKlan, but they won’t/can’t do it because anyone who identifies as GOP/MAGA or extremist alt left would have to be deported from the platform. Welp. 🥴💅🏾
At this point I want them to apologize to me/us. Y’all know this is LOUD & WRONG, @Twitter! Shame on you, we rebuke it in the name of the 1st amendment & it’s NOT cute that you’ve created SEPARATE & UNEQUAL Jim Crow conditions #onhere. I dare you to suspend me for telling you. 🔥

The reason it’s an “unwelcome response” is too many people either flat out don’t understand how Congress & impeachment work or they’re outright refusing to hold the GOP majority (and their White peers) accountable for gleefully rubber stamping every ounce of this fascist coup.
I’m gonna keep coming back to this b/c it’s still true. Either y’all are gonna figure out how to pester the GOP into betraying DT or you’re gonna fight like hell to remove *every single Republican from Congress* every fucking chance you get to do so. Get on the right battlefield.
I’m not saying you have to like political reality but if you willfully refuse to acknowledge the basic facts of Congressional math, I can’t take you seriously or see you as an ally in the fight against fascism. If anything, you’re a liability and a stumbling block.

People keep asking why this iteration is more rapidly disastrous and the answer is his handlers at the first rodeo at least tried to protect him (and the world) from his pathology but this 2nd set is outright exploiting & weaponizing it to further their fascist agenda.

What if instead of vilifying Democrats as feckless & ignoring the unprecedented Constitutional crisis standing in their way, folk who actually didn’t want fascism dared the American electorate to give Ds a veto-proof Congressional majority/all 3 branches of government FOR ONCE?
Ever notice how you never see them advocating for that but you always see them poisoning the well sufficiently enough to suppress D turnout and catalyze absolute GOP power? 🧐 They perpetuate razor thin margins that render Rs unstoppable and Ds unelectable.
Swap out Manchin for Fetterman (or any other ConservaDem you so choose) and the point still stands. We wouldn’t be living & dying by the White whims of ConservaDems or Rs if they didn’t share a constituency that refuses to elect Ds who are either POC or *reliable White allies*. Image

Much of the reason White “moderates” are so shellshocked about having no quick reprieve from Project 2025 is they’ve historically been able to evade the worst of GOP policy by “swing” voting for divided govt that allows Ds to rescue them from the R trifectas they keep unleashing.
IOW, they create economic chaos by voting GOP in presidential years (to assert their Whiteness) then crawling back to Ds with their tails between their legs at the midterms b/c they desperately need a bailout from GOP austerity/overreach and want their SS, Medicaid & Medicare. 🙃
