There are 2 sectors of the firearms market that have always seemed to be wildly overpriced to me. Suppressors and red dot sights. So, I bought this cheap red dot to put on my Sig P320 X-Five. I guess we'll see if there's a good reason all the other ones are $400 more.
I assume the problem with these cheap ones is that they can't hold a zero? Otherwise, I'm confused why a laser pointer aimed at a lens could ever cost $550. Just like I don't get why a metal tube with baffles costs $500+
Honestly, if this one doesn't work, I'll probably just give up in the idea of pistol red dots. I just can't justify spending as much on a red dot as I did on the gun in the first place. I don't think it does that much for my ability to aim. But, maybe I'm being too skeptical.
Well, one problem with this cheap red dot is that it doesn't fit out of the box. I'll either have to find an adapter or return this one and try another one.
Also, it looks like this sight is sold under a bunch of different brands for less than what I paid for it. I was told this would fit but it doesn't. So, I'll probably just return it. I may try one of the Sig models instead.
I think I'm going to return the Tasco branded model and get the Sig Romeo1. The Tasco was a longshot and the Romeo1 is relatively affordable at $225. Maybe the $400+ models are worth it for durability, but I'm not planning to carry or compete with it. amazon.com/Sig-Sauer-SOR1…

Josh Hammer appears to have blocked me and deleted his tweet praising Amy Wax's blatantly racist bullshit. I hope he just didn't read the whole thing and is explaining that he doesn't want fewer Asians in America. But, I'm not exactly holding my breath either.
It's 12:30 am. The Flyers are losing 4-1. There's an entire period left to go.
What is going on with this game? Am I dreaming? Did they just can a weak 10 minute misconduct on the Flyers and then a weak call on the Kings that ends up giving them a 2-man advantage? What is even going on?
They pulled the goalie and had a 3-man advantage. And they scored. I feel like I made this all up.
Question for the various NFL players that follow me: do you follow because if my award-winning firearms reporting and analysis or because you think I'm world-champion kicker Stephen Gostkowski?
I think it's mostly the former. But the later would be much funnier.
Morten Anderson used to follow me on here but he doesn't anymore. I still suspect he thought I was Stephen Gostkowski.
People are talking about this because of the politics, but the fact this is almost certainly a scam coin seems much more concerning to me. Coffezilla has already profiled this meme coin and it doesn't look good:
Here's more detail on how different rug pulls work in crypto. I don't know what will happen, but here's the advice on their website: "LGBcoin has no intrinsic value and you should not purchase it with any expectation that you will be able to resell it."
Why NASCAR would want to get involved with something that seems likely to end in disaster is beyond me.
