NC election transparency advocate @bernstein_lynn (who is nonpartisan) was stalked 5 days > the NC Libertarian Party chair announced his plan to conduct a source code review of @ESSVote’s ExpressVote voting system. Lynn is a leading force behind the planned source code review. 1/
4/ As she said, the vehicular stalking may or may not have been related to the source code review, but this was not an isolated incident, and she is no doubt shaken by it. Read the thread.
6/ I wish the person calling for the review was a Democrat, but that is not the case. I can tell you that the review was not initiated by Trump’s people, and that it will involve @DuncanBuell, a respected election-security expert who I have interviewed myself.
7/ IMO, there are legitimate concerns about the ExpressVote (a touchscreen style voting machine that marks your ballot for you in lieu of using a pen). In 2020, the NAACP tried unsuccessfully to prevent NC from using the system. neusenews.com/index/2020/4/3…
16/ FWIW, I don’t know Lynn’s political affiliation. But if I had to guess, I’m pretty sure she’s a Democrat. Sadly, after the Big Lie, I feel I have to say this to avoid having fellow Democrats oppose the planned source code review. IMO, we shld support it.
17/ There is almost no one on the right who I trust re: election security after the Big Lie. But I trust Lynn, & she trusts the Libertarian chair in NC who is the one seeking the review. He’s also the one w/authority to do it.
18/ Gary Sims of @WakeElections has also been bizarrely hostile to Lynn & her efforts to improve election transparency in North Carolina.
19/ @bernstein_lynn ultimately helped persuade Guilford County, NC to have voters mark their ballots with pens, rather than with the ES&S ExpressVote, saving the county $5.8 million.
“Roger Stone: ‘They Ought to Put the Handcuffs on’ Ted Cruz for Vote Fraud” 4/3/16 1/
“Stone said, ‘Go to StopTheSteal.org. For over a month we have had an 800 number up, a toll free number. We have collected and documented with sworn affidavits thousands of claims of voter irregularities in the states where Ted Cruz has won...” 4/2/16 2/
“‘If they want to fight, let’s fight,’ Stone continued. ‘Ted Cruz’s delegates in Texas were fraudulently elected. There are thousands of examples of voter fraud. That means people voted for Donald Trump, but their vote was counted for Ted Cruz.” 4/2/16 3/
How do I know that the GOP-led audits in Texas are a dog & pony show? If they were legit, my piece for @whowhatwhy re: ES&S’s hash issues in Texas would have gone viral by now. As far as I can tell, no one has posted it since July (and that post was mine). whowhatwhy.org/politics/elect…
Oh. And I know they have it bc someone told me she gave it to Mike Lindell in person. (believe me, I did not ask her to give it to him).
“Kremlin Insider Klyushin [Who the US Recently Arrested] Said to Have 2016 [Election] Hack Details”
“Most critically, … if he chooses to cooperate, he cld provide Americans w/ their closest view yet of 2016 election manipulation.” 1/2/22 1/ bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
2/ “Klyushin’s attorney in Switzerland, Oliver Ciric, said…in an interview that his client was sought by U.S. authorities because they believe he has inside information on Russia’s 2016 election hacking…”
3/ “Klyushin is one of several high-level individuals in Russia’s cyber sector who have been at the center of drama in both Russia & the U.S. Two of these Russians provided information several years ago that led to U.S. indictments of Russians for alleged election manipulation…”
I certainly agree with these three: Frank Artiles, Enrique Tarrio (leader of Proud Boys & pal of Roger Stone), & Laura Loomer (protege of Roger Stone). 2/
I don’t know the others but will review more carefully soon. 3/
