You guys want me to tell you all the businesses I own?
My lil baby Berkshire (ha wishful thinking) of 30ish biz's in the making...
Disclaimer:
Not a billionaire.
A lady asked me once, "How does it feel to be rich."
I chuckled. I guess teen Codie would think I was rich. Feels weird.
I still worry about $. I DO pinch myself I haven't had debit card balance go negative in a long time. 🤷♀️
Ok well then.. first up one of my very first companies...
Fortune cookie marketing firm.
Yup, that's a real thing. You know those ads in fortune cookies. That's a biz I own part of.
Lab processing company.
For biotech processing in the boston area, they take in samples and help the biotech firms there confirm their findings.
A latin america venture capital fund
They invest in early stage tech and saas companies in latam.
A mexican real estate investment company.
They buy small houses and turn them into duplex's and triplex's. This is novel in mexico city. My operator is a total BA.
Cannabis private equity fund.
I'm a partner and GP shareholder (aka I own part of the company), they invest in growth stage cannabis companies.
Home insurance agency.
A franchise of a big insurance company this is their brokerage arm.
A chocolate making company.
They're more like a copacker and third party purveyor of chocolates for CPG brands although they do have their own brand as well.
A latam travel company
They do tours and guiding and recently developed a tech process and system they're experimenting with in Chile.
A common living business
Kind of like we-work but for co-living, it's a cool small business that's growing I bet we get bought out in the next few years.
A multi-family property management company
They manage a bunch of properties in the Texas marketplace.
Laundromat holding company
We have a bunch of laundromats in the southwest that we run and manage.
Mobile home parks (5)
Located throughout the carolinas, florida, texas, and alabama these are mobile home parks.
RV parks (4)
Located throughout the middle west these are RV parks turned into kind of like RV parks with recreation centers.
RV park meets hunting license site and gun range
I guess that's just about exactlty what it sounds like, a cool site we are developing with RV parks, hunting spots, and a gun range.
Contrarian thinking
Ya'll know this business, it's now a media business and a series of websites, educational courses etc all focused on freeing humans financially and mentally.
These guys produce podcasts and are a one stop shop for anyone who wants to produce a podcast.
@UAcquisitions What I want to own next year???
- ice vending businesses
- car washes
- more home services companies
- more essential services
- more land deals
@UAcquisitions So I guess depending on how you slice it it's like 20-35 companies, the structures get a lil convoluted.
TLDR:
- it took me 13 years to accumulate these
- I've bought and sold many biz's
- who knows if they'll all work out
@UAcquisitions My goal is never to have a big #, it's to have FUN, PROFITABLE, MAIN STREET ENABLING boring biz's that:
- cashflow
- and are good for the country I love
If we all own & give a lil love to SMB's we won't be a nation of super centers.
I like that idea.

My biggest losses of 2021 and the lessons I learned from losing 2 commas:
I had a hell of a year, made 0’s, grew to 1 million followers across platforms, bought a bunch of biz’s but I made some big mistakes, and big losses came with them.
Everyone's doing EOY lessons. I’ll share my painful ones.. bc I haven’t yet met a perfect human.
Played A Long Term Game w/ a Short Term Person
One of my deal partners was how do I say this nicely? A narcissistic d*ck.
I knew it BUT I did it anyway bc of the deal.
Had to walk away. He’ll take upside & use my name🤦♀️
As Naval says, “long term games w/ long term PEOPLE.”
I just invested in another mobile home park, you want to see what the deal looks like?
These are one of my favorite investments right now, when done right...
I always wish I could see inside others minds on their deals sooooo.....
Stats:
- South Carolina
- off market
- 170 units
- price $3.9M
- 10+ are singe family homes
