Portesters reportedly started to build barricades in some streets of #Almaty. Firearms, shields and batons were taken from security forces. Also reports that a TV channel building was captured. All this of course unconfirmed.

So i read multiple tweets today claiming security forces "joined protesters", e.g. on the last video. I don't see them joining. They are outnumbered and surrounded, they will likely rejoin security forces as soon as they moved out of this situation.
