I cannot emphasize enough:

DO NOT GO TO THESE LOCATIONS FOR TESTS

at BEST, they're not using proper testing procedures and are giving everyone negative results whether they're infected or not

they also appear to be using your personal information to scam federal money

at worst, they might be collecting your personal information for other types of fraud

the question I have is why they're being allowed to operate in WA, and why WA government sites are recommending them as testing sites

I'd suggest calling the AG and your local representatives and asking to have them investigated, and their sites removed from gov lists of testing sites

The good...? news is it doesn't look like this is being run by Republicans/churches/Qanoners/etc. so I guess it's just an old-fashioned scam and not weird conservative COVID-party/vaccine destruction disease spreading attempts.

I'm going to try contacting my state-level representatives to see if I can get more traction, since the DOH was kind of like "well, you can file a consumer complaint" and this seems a little different from "this vacuum repair place overcharged me."

Not sure about OnPoint Testing--it's VERY hard to find actual information about them, but they appear to be a company founded solely to do COVID testing by a founder who also owns import companies, so looks a bit sus

Look, just go get tested at one of the official state-run sites, or at the university, or at a pharmacy, or at a hospital

Again, and I can't emphasize this enough--go to official state-run sites, hospitals, or pharmacies for testing.

I get that if we're exposed, we all want to know immediately if we got COVID, but better to wait longer and be safe, get accurate results, and not risk your PII.
