Do not add everything that comes to your mind in your SaaS! 😱

More features don't mean more value.

And it can even increase your churn!

When you're building your SaaS you might think the more you give the better.

But it's not true.

Your users don't want more features. They just want to get the value your SaaS has been created for.
It means that if you can give the value they need with only 1 feature. Do it.

It won't change the pricing.

And this is something you understand when you're focused on your user and not your product.
But how can it increase churn??

It's simple. More features mean more time to understand your product.

So the more features you add. The more complex your product becomes.

So you will have users who won't take time to dig into that and will just leave.
It can also increase churn because your users might think they are not using what they've paid for.

That is weird. I know.

But if someone uses only 50% of what they've paid for. They will start to think that their money isn't used right.
So please. Add a feature only if it's necessary.

And you can even do the contrary!

If you have a feature that your users do not use. Or not enough.

Then just remove it!

And it's not because you "spent time on it" that you should let it.

β€’ Marketing integration

You can do both.
Technical Integration is when you make sure you're app works perfectly with another one.

Marketing Integration is just to use your users and promote another app. You can do it with blog posts, in-app banners, etc.

You just have to talk to merchants to understand their pain and what's missing in the App Store.

New apps will create new needs.
2/ Don't wait too long to submit your app on the app store.

As soon as you have a working app (even an MVP), submit it.

Because Shopify will review your app during the approval process.

The more features you have, the more changes they might ask you to make.
