Ekadashi
According to the Padma Purana, Ekadashi is Maha Vishnu's female energy who, in the appearance of a damsel in distress, kills the demon Mura and protects the Indradi Devathas on this day. He names her Ekadas because he is pleased with the act of his Female energy.
As a result, Sri Maha Vishnu cherished Ekadashi thiti the most. He also offered her a blessing, saying that anyone who worships Ekadashi and fasts on this day will be able to enter Vaikunta (His dwelling), and his doors will be open to them.
The Northern Gate, also known as Paramapada or Vaikunta Dwara, has been kept open for a single day since time immemorial, and that day is celebrated as Vaikunta Ekadashi Day. It is also called as Mukkoti Ekadashi.
Significance
The Padma Purana specifies the importance of Vaikuntha Ekadashi. The Devas, unable to bear the oppression of 'Muran,' an evil spirit, advanced toward Shiva, who led them to Vishnu, according to tradition.
Vishnu and the demon got into a struggle, and Vishnu realised that Muran would be killed by another weapon. Vishnu resigned to a give-in for the goddess Haimavati in Bhadrikashrama, with the end objective of repose and the creation of a new weapon in mind.
When Muran sought to assassinate Vishnu while he was sleeping, the female power that surged up from Vishnu consumed Muran with her stare, reducing him to cinders.
Vishnu, pleased, gave the goddess the name 'Ekadashi' and asked her to seek assistance. Ekadashi, on the other hand, pleaded with Vishnu that those who had watched a fast on that day be reclaimed for their wrongdoings.
In this way, Vishnu declared that anyone who watched a quick on that day and revered Ekadashi would reach Vaikuntha. The main Ekadashi, which was a Dhanurmasa Shukla Paksha Ekadashi, appeared in this manner.
The term "Ekadashi" can be used to refer to the 11th day of the Chandramana month. On 12th day, we should complete the daily rites and consume food. On Dashami, one should eat one meal the day before Ekadashi, abstain from intercourse, and fast the following day on Ekadashi.
Body and mind health can be maintained by practising Ekadashivrata without interruption. "Body is the medium of Dharmasadhanam," Mahakavi Kalidasa declared, and a healthy body is necessary for earning religion.
According to Vasista, the Ekadashi, or Eleventh Day, atones for all sins committed via the use of the eleven senses, and so nothing is more sacred than Ekadasi. On Vaikunta Ekadashi, have Darshan of Sriman Narayana and exit through Vaikuntha gate.
Vaikuntha Ekadashi or Mukkotti Ekadashi is the scared Ekadasi of Dhanurmasa that comes before the Sun changes to Uttarayana. Mukkoti Ekadashi falls in the middle of the path leading to the transit of Capricorn after the Sun enters Sagittarius.
Muran, a demon, was hidden in the rice that day. As a result, we should avoid eating any rice-based foods on that day. Vishnu Purana claims that fasting on Mukkoti Ekadashi is equivalent to fasting for the remaining 23 Ekadashis. Mora represents both political and comedic aspects
Kranti is a Sanskrit word that signifies "transformation." Sankranti means "whole and complete transformation." Sankramana or Sankranti symbolises the shift of the month when the Sun travels from one zodiac sign (Rashi) to another.
The day of Sankranti is dedicated to Surya Deva, and it is regarded as a crucial day for Surya Deva worship. Although the Hindu calendar has twelve Sankranti, Makara Sankranti is the most important of them all because of its sacred significance.
Many people mistakenly believe and celebrate Makara Sankranti as Uttarayana Day. The astronomical and religious events Makara Sankranti and Uttarayana are two different astronomical and religious occasions.
Answer: It is customary for us to come out after visiting a temple and sit for a time at the temple's foot.
Do you have any idea why this custom exists?
This ancient custom was created for a specific reason. In reality, one should recite a shloka while sitting silently at the foot of the shrine. This verse has been forgotten by modern people. Recite this shloka and pass it on to the next generation.
Only one bird (Khag) has a great sense of self-worth and self-respect; may Chataka (that bird's name) live a long life (Chiranjeev). Chataka would prefer to die of thirst, but will only beseech God Indra for water (Purandar).
That is, he solely drinks rainwater. He will never consume pond water or water that has been stored. The bird has a lot of self-respect and self-esteem.
The sugar crystals we eat or the brown sugar (jaggery or GuDa) is not so obviously in the sugar cane until we squeeze it out and process it.
The majority of people believe that drinking warm water with lemon juice and a tablespoon of honey on an empty stomach in the morning will help them lose weight and stay healthy (but don't combine #Honey with warm water).
We all know that drinking a cup of warm water first thing in the morning aids digestion. By combining jaggery and lemon juice, the profit can be tripled. Drinking warm water with jaggery in the morning before brushing your teeth will improve your skin and overall health.
To the east of it, according to Puranic narratives, there are two Nagarams: Pradana-Nagaram and Ma-Nagaram. Eden is the only garden referenced in the Old Testament. The omission is a critical error that renders the entire scenario worthless and ludicrous in every sense.
प्रकर्षेण दानं प्रदानम्।
Thus, Pradana-Nagaram denotes the zone of renunciation that is superior to Ma-Nagaram, the forest to the east. Worldly bliss is symbolised by Ma or Lakshmi. Eden has the same meaning in Hebrew.
In the Old Testament, no etymological explanation is given for these two names, but Moses' name was derived from water, which in its liquid form resembles melting in a Moosa or crucible (a receptacle in which substances are heated to high temperatures).
Evidently, not even a hazy concept was gained when the titles Adam & Eve were borrowed. As revealed to Moses in Genesis, Adam & Eve are not the 1st parents of mankind. The two words provide highly technical n incredibly useful directions for Hindu religious progress.
