@benraylujan sends me an email making claims about Election Integrity. Here's what he said.
"TODD,
John Lewis said it best —“Democracy is not a state. It is an act.”
I think about those wise words often, but right now in Congress and across America, they ring more true than any
other time I’ve been in Washington.
In 2020, voters turned out in record numbers to reject the Trump presidency and flip the Senate. But Republicans are ramping up voter suppression to try to stop the will of the people from ever happening again.
Last year alone, 19
Republican-led states across the country passed 33 bills that restrict the right to vote. Meanwhile, here in Congress, Republicans have used the filibuster to obstruct every single voting rights bill that Senate Democrats have introduced.
It’s time to leave it all on the field,
TODD — voting rights must be protected. We must stop Republican obstruction as state legislatures ram through more voter suppression bills, and I need your help to get it done.
Add your name to support changing the Senate rules to allow the passage of the Freedom to Vote Act,
the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, and the Protecting our Democracy Act along a simple majority vote:
ADD YOUR NAME
These three bills would clean up campaign finance laws, protect civil rights at the ballot box, and set up guardrails to protect and strengthen our
democracy.
I also am proud to have secured provisions from the Native American Voting Rights Act into these bills, which would ensure equal access to the electoral process for Native Americans, Alaska Natives, and voters living on Tribal lands.
Our democracy is at its strongest
when everyone can make their voices heard, and right now, Congress has a moral imperative to protect the right to vote.
If you’re with me, add your name to support changing the Senate rules to pass crucially important voting rights bills.
ADD YOUR NAME
Defending our democracy is
one of the most important things we can do, and I’m grateful to have you as an ally in this fight. Thank you.
Ben Ray"
Here's the problem: THIS IS A MANUFACTURED ISSUE. We have the same sheet of music from progressives like Ben Ray, and @NMSOSMaggie and @GovMLG @HectorBalderas Each has their arenas they are working. But NM turned out the highest number of voters in the history of the state.
Think about that. THE HIGHEST NUMBER OF VOTERS EVER. What does that tell you about access to voting rights? They are making up a crisis. Just plain old ordinary lying. Why? I don't know. Ask them. Maybe the Pandemic is fading in it's ability to control? Maybe it's because
@NMSOSMaggie does not want you to look at facts presented at the Bernalillo County Registration Board that she has failed to clean up voter rolls? It's public record. Go take a look. She failed to send notices to people who haven't voted in 8 years. That is a choice she made
about federal law. She has kicked out observers from the review of which ballots to accept and which ballots to reject. So tell me, what does she have to hide? Why can't we, the public, be present when that decision is made?
Let's not be distracted by these people. Serious questions were raised by David Clements. Not that some of the questions weren't a bit weird. They were. But, he, as a Qualified Elector, has a right to have his questions answered. (Get used to that term "qualified elector".
More public record. Go ask the Sandoval County Clerk to produce the video of @ElectJayCBlock asking questions of the clerk and Bureau of Elections Chief about the process. It, too, is public record. I could go on. Ben Ray, Maggie. Stop this garbage about a manufactured problem.

Mr. Jennings, I read your work often. I missed the fact that Brenner was issued a Cease and Desist Order from the company doing the training. Important facts left out of this story. Happy to hear you spent an hour on Critical Race Theory in Rio Rancho. The district has spent
much more time than that. Here are few more questions to ask: 1) Let's assume that CRT is not being taught. Why is there training material for teachers being kept from the public? What are they actually trying to hide? It would seem that a Cease and Desist Order would be the
reason you could not see the evidence Brenner discussed. 2) What is the point of Gary Trip providing cover to the school administration in/ an Op/Ed? 3) Why are proponents of CRT telling people that the theory is malleable? They have changed the name of the programs.

My wife is an ADF attorney and preaches your messages to me every morning. Can't tell you how many times she cites you as the evidence of her positions on public policy are correct. Your book arrived yesterday. We have found some resources before you have presented them.
There are plenty of sources you l show us. We have an opportunity to use these resources in court. Thank you for the validation for what we know to be true. You personify my definition of knowledge: accurate information, properly acquired, diligently applied to a productive goal.

“I’m truly honored to have been chosen to serve on this important committee. I believe election integrity is the core issue moving into the 2022 midterm elections. Voters who do not have faith in the election process will not want to participate. It’s imperative that we restore
the voters’ trust in our political process. Fair and honest elections are key to helping our party win vital races and to improve the lives of constituents here in New Mexico and around the nation.” — Committeewoman Tina Dziuk newmexico.gop/2021/02/17/rnc…
We are expecting that Ms. Dziuk will be very interested in SB 454. A comparison of the recent GA election reform law show huge gaps with New Mexico's "comprehensive" overhaul. This will likely come up in the special session. No seriously folks. It won't just be about marijuana

#nmpol. Urgent problem has developed over election integrity issues. SB 48 just came out of Senate Judiciary with a Do Pass with amendments. It is a bad bill. R's caused this problem last special session and now they are making the mistake permanent.
Ok. The time has come. SB 48 went from 23 pages to a new bill with... wait for it... 146 pages now called SB 454. It codifies portions of the SB 04. Bad bills building on more bad bills. It now cloaks a portion of the election code. Really. Call ALL the Senators now.
Tell them to VOTE AGAINST SB 454. Cloaking devices? In the election code? Uh...yeah. How about clear language guaranteeing transparency? Umm....not here. What about the needs to make decisions at the lowest possible level? Ummm...nope. This bill puts more power

New Mexico governor spent thousands in taxypayer money on groceries, liquor, and dry cleaning: Report. Didn't Diana Duran go to jail for a month for behavior just like this? Wasn't it about this same amount of money? @HectorBalderas @pgessing #nmpol a.msn.com/01/en-us/BB1dS…
@koat7news @KOB4 @krqe Seems like there is a much bigger news story here. Why would @HectorBalderas prosecute Diana Duran for about $14k in misuse of donor and NOT prosecute @GovMLG for misuse of taxpayer money of about $13,500? Is it because of the source of the money?
Perhaps it's ok to misuse taxpayer money, but not donor money. Wait. No. It must be the $500 difference. At $13,500 you're ok, but at $14,000 you're over the line. Mmmm. Wait. Maybe it's because @GovMLG is the governor and Diana Duran was only the Secretary of State. Yeah.
