Drifters in the story:
- Dajackal #41 - The pilot
- Ambre #187 - The explorer
- Rich #58 - The brain

It's storytime 👀📖 (1/13)
Dajackal was lying on his bunk bed, eyes closed, focused on his inner self he could sense the powerful engine propelling his spaceship through hyperspace.

For the last three years, he had been spearheading the exploration as a pilot for the Drifters.

(2/13)
And every time it was the same routine: first, he droned out towards places where Rich, a.k.a « the brain », found energy spikes. Then, if the location was confirmed, he would travel out there with Ambre, his teammate, a fiercely trained explorer to gather more intel.

(3/13)
Solana mission, Polkadot mission, Tezos mission, Avax mission… One after the other, they turned out to be failures.
« If we want to make a difference, we need a one-of-a-kind energy source, this is just not good enough » would say « the brain ». This sentence haunted

(4/13)
Dajackal each time he came back to Gloth from an exploration.

But this time it seemed to be different, a few months back Rich detected a power spike like no one before.

(5/13)
When Dajackal droned out to get more data, he discovered a gigantic worm whole spitting what appeared to be a dead planet.
The existence of this endless energy source brought hope to the entire Drifter base.

(6/13)
The only issue was that the power source seemed to be on the other side of the wormhole. And traveling through that kind of space distortion had never been done by any Neyta…

(7/13)
Bad luck for Dajackal, as a former pro gamer with astonishing ocular reflexes, he was the only pilot able to fly through a dead planet’s debris field without auto-pilot assistance. And since Ambre was his teammate, well bad luck for her also.

(8/13)
Their bodies had been biologically and mechanically enhanced to sustain the quantum pressure of traveling through the wormhole. Their eyes could now see through the dark and their bodies sustain unbelievable pressures.

(9/13)
Dajackal felt the ship getting out of hyperspace. Comms opened right away and Ambre’s voice came out « we’re here ».
Once he arrived in the cockpit and sat down next to her, they both looked at the task ahead.

(10/13)
Millions of rocks getting out of the wormhole, flying in all directions, collapsing into each other.

Dajackal made a great big smile.
« You know, I’m happy that you’re the person I’m gonna die next to Ambre. »

(11/13)
« Don’t make me whoop your ass Dajackal. I hope a few rocks and a wormhole don’t scare you? »
She smiled back.

« Let’s hope this #Elrond mission is going to be worth it! »

(12/13)

« Well this would be a first… » thought Lukko to herself.
Standing on top of a 645-floor glass skyscraper, at the end of her Reaper XPZ46 sniper riffle, exactly 7.439 kilometers away from the man she had in her reticle, she took a deep breath to think about her last few weeks…
