Hello Marie
Thank you for sharing your concerns and opinions.

Many of the items you have requested are unlikely to be addressed before school starts on Monday.

At this time, I have not heard if there will be any change to how snacks or lunches are
administered, though I can ask at the meeting on Tuesday. You do have the option to take your child home for lunch or make alternative arrangements. Lunch supervision is a decision the Board has taken over the years. No funding is provided for this from the province.
For information on school ventilation please go to this link:

There are currently no plans to place CO2 monitors in classrooms.

Board staff are currently looking to see how reporting to parents can continue and I expect parents should hear about that
in the next couple of days.
I note that you continue to tweet at me. Just to let you know, I do not respond to Twitter comments due to the level of abuse those comments generate towards me, whether by actual people or bots. In those tweets you mention June 2.
I assume you mean this as some sort of threat, though I don't know what it refers to, so probably not as effective as you wish.
Regards,
Robin Pilkey
ME: Shared letter earlier What a peculiar way to frame the Date June 2, why does Pilkey see this as a threat?

THIS IS THE BEST OUR SCHOOL CAN DO
THIS IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO OK
I REFUSE TO SEND MY CHILD

Good morning KGJPS parents and caregivers,

We look forward to welcoming students back to in-person learning on Monday January 17th. Last evening, parents received a system message from
the TDSB. Please take time to review the changes in TPH and TDSB COVID-related operational procedures in order to best support a smooth transition for your child(ren) and family. I have added a few local reminders and clarifications below.
It is critical that all parents print or pick-up a copy of the new TDSB HEALTH PASS (updated January 10th) and complete/return it daily to determine each child’s access to school. This is now a three-page document. The last page is infographic which provides supporting

TDSB LETTER TO PARENTS
Good Evening Parents/Guardians and Students,

The Government of Ontario confirmed yesterday that, as scheduled, students will return to in-person learning on Monday, January 17. While we continue to await some additional details on some items, we wanted to
provide as much information as possible to help ensure a safer return to in-person learning next week.

COVID-19 Vaccinations: We continue to work with Toronto Public Health to support the rollout of vaccines for children aged 5 and older to support families who want their child
to receive the vaccine and ensure strong protection against COVID-19. Book a vaccine appointment now.

Daily Screening: Staying home when you are sick is one of the most important things we can do to slow the spread of COVID-19. Toronto Public Health has strengthened its

SENT THIS GROUP EMAIL ABOUT SNACK TIME

After speaking with the principal Mr. Battaglia at King George Junior Public School I am dismayed to see TDSB has not changed operational guidelines around SNACK TIME. Eating is the most dangerous time of the day, lunch presents a
lot of concerns, but SNACK can be moved OUTDOORS EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. A guideline that insists children remain seated in class and supervised by a teacher is not BASED ON SOUND SCIENCE. The teacher can supervise but this will NOT STOP UNMASKED CHILDREN FROM DIRECTLY SHARING
AIR. That's 2 points in the day where RISK CAN BE ELIMINATED by moving outdoors. Parents can pack appropriate snacks, just like when WE WERE KIDS, teachers can SUPERVISE, but NO MORE SNACK INDOORS AND SHARING AIR.

Lunch routines are a PROBLEM. Parents who are working from
