Slack used the word "PARTY" in his public admission.
This was a serious breach of the regulations in force.
If you do not investigate, Cressida Dick herself commits a likely offence - Misconduct in Public Office - and brings the law into disrepute.

Please also tell us how allowing Sue Gray's enquiry to take place before a police investigation, and making that investigation dependent on her findings, *does not* risk compromising the gathering of evidence and any police investigation?
