Take the Chen Gang case that its some how racist. What is mind boggling is that China says they are going to target these people and these information types. China does this across multiple agencies from intelligence to security to military to shell companies to United Front 2/n

I have personally written about a Chinese intelligence databases where academics are labeled as "important" or "not important". Chinese intel collects the same data on people in companies with access to all kinds of tech. So what happens when you propose doing something 4/n

About this? You are labeled as racist. "But they literally say they are targeting these people and information groups." "That's pretty racist." "But THEY are the ones saying who they're targeting. Their the racist ones." "Calling them racist is pretty racist." 5/n

So even when China says "this is what we are going to do" academics actively refuse to pay any attention and label anyone who says we should address this behavior as racist. To get away with this behavior academics and universities actively have to put themselves outside 6/n

Think I'm kidding? Here is the reporting from MIT about gifts from China where they are supposed to by law report the names of gifts from China. What don't you see anywhere on the data? Names of who is doing the giving. Universities fought hard to change public reporting 6/n

After a couple of universities were embarrassed such as UPenn taking shell company corrupt proceeds donations. So yes, when professors call everyone who disagrees with them racist, even though this is nothing more than what China SAYS they are going to do and what they fund, 7/n
