Sometimes, out of ignorance, people think that standing before a leader in public & either enjoining him to do good or forbid him from doing evil is a sign of heroism. To worsen the situation, activists full of ignorance of the religion think religion is activism.
Islamic scholars are learned people. Allah Has given them the best of knowledge that you can't pick on the streets. Thus, they use that knowledge as a guide, even though they are human & they make mistakes, yet they're obviously better than those who lack the knowledge/guidance.
Sa’id ibn Jubayr reported: I asked Ibn Abbas (RA), “Shall I enjoin good and forbid evil upon the ruler?”

Ibn Abbas said:

If you must do so, then do it between you and him privately.

Source: al-Amr bil-Maʻrūf li-Ibn Abī Dunyā 80.
The aim of admonishing an individual isn't to humiliate the person, rather to make him take the correction, for his good & the good of others. Enjoining good and forbidding evil is a trial, a burden, it isn't activism. It is done with knowledge & character.
Imam Hasanul Basari (RH) was reported to have in Tabaqatil Kubrah that:

If people had patience when they are afflicted with trials from their ruler, it would not be long before Allah gives them a way out. Yet they rush to their swords, so they are left to their swords.
The scholars measure the consequences of what they say in public, especially against a leader. On the side of the leader, he might feel humiliated & become more arrogant or even harm the person saying it. In such a situation, the religion prohibits the preacher from public
condemnations. It is also possible that the public condemnation of the leader in public may brew up rebellion from the followers, one that could lead to mayhem & killings, again, the religion prohibits that.
Let me assure you that, if you think you are more brave than these scholars, you are deceiving yourself. To majority of them in the field of struggle, you are nobody. The heat they can take & tolerate, and which they have tolerated, you can never go close to it. However, they are
guided by the knowledge they carry and the burden on their shoulders. Islamic scholarship isn't Twitter or street activism.

How a Make-believe lifestyle thwarts many of us

Many people today have their goals blocked or frustrated by their own selves. You adopt a lifestyle that you are very sure is fake, yet you dream of achieving something genuine out of it. How is that possible?
It is a common thing today to see people that cannot live genuine lives even though they don't find the fake life funny. We all want to do what others do, even though we are not the same; we do not earn the same, not are we of the same background. At the end, truth takes over.
I remember after our graduation from university, I had a cousin in Zaria who also graduated from ABU Zaria & was not ready to do any "menial job" at that time. Since he read accounting, he felt that he must be gainfully employed. In fact, he'd mention the places he must work.

THE GLORIOUS QUR’AN ❤️❤️

Jibreel (AS) brought the message of the Glorious Qur’an, & by that became the leader of all the Angels, & was named: The Reliable Spirit.

Muhammad (SAW) was given the message of the Qur’an, & by that became the best of all Prophets & messengers.
The nation (Ummah) of Muhammad (SAW) has the Glorious Qur’an revealed unto it, & by that it became the best nation.

The Night of Decree (Qadr) had the Glorious Qur’an revealed in it, & by that it became the best of all nights.
The month of Ramadhaan, the Glorious Qur’an was revealed in it, & by that it became the leader of all other months.

This is because, the Prophet (SAW) said: "The best among you is he who learns the Glorious Qur’an & teaches it (to others)". (Saheeh)

Do you still start your day with social media before you recite the Qur'an? Are you in the habit of picking your phone first & browsing through messages before you even pray Fajr, make morning Azkar & recite the Glorious Qur’an?

Change the habit. Let the most important things
come first. Those that are less important can come later.

Do you know that the fastest way to receive Allah's Rahma is via the recitation of the Quran?

Imam al-Laithi (RH) was reported to have said:

There's nobody who receives blessing faster than one listening the Quran.
He then said: This is just a listener. What do you think about the person reciting it? And what about that person who has even memorized it? Then think about the blessings received by the one pondering over its meanings, then also think about he who put the teachings into work.

Immediately after NYSC, just before I picked my first Job, I asked my Dad to loan me N1, 000,000 to start business of buying & selling grains from Udawa Market to Buruku, to Birnin Gwari weekly markets. He was surprised that I could think in that direction. He gave me the money.
I made a second class upper degree in Petroleum Engineering, & among the top 4 in my class. Yet, I decided to look for a way to take my responsibility off the shoulders of my parent whom have trained me tirelessly from Nursery to 1st degree. I started the business as planned.
Five weeks later, I got my first job & decided to give him back his money. He didn't collect anything from me, & that became a gift from he, & a show of appreciation for my initiative. I later used that money to get married 😁.

Dear Husbands,

The same manner Allah would question us about our Salat, Fasting & other dealings of worship, so He would question us about the rights our wives have over us.

Her rights to feeding, right to companionship, rights to accommodation, right to sexual satisfaction,
rights to education, rights to happiness, & any other right.

It is possible that someone would scale through in the aspects of his Salat, Fasting, Hajj but go to hellfire if he fails to satisfy the rights of the wife. Do you remember the Hadith of Al-Muflis (The Bankrupt?)
Imam Muslim narrated via the way of Abu Hurayra “that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said:

‘Do you know who the muflis (bankrupt) is?’ They said: ‘The muflis among us is the one without a dirham (or money).’

He (SAW) said:
