The pandemic was tough but it was also a time I used to focus and work on my paintings which were eventually bought by collectors in Europe, US, Australia, and India.
Thankful to the Lord for his blessings.
Here's a thread.
"April's Bounty" #painting
Chirpy opened his eyes to a translucent light around him. He wanted to see and feel that light in all its fullness.
So he started pecking around the shell that seemed to be getting in the way of that light.
His feeble pecks caused a crack around the shell.
And with one big determined stretch, he managed to get break himself loose from the shell.
Much to his delight, he was greeted by the warm bright light, and a pair of smiles.
"Hi love, welcome to the world. You are Chirpy." Said they.
More happy faces chimed in, "hi Chirpy, we've been waiting anxiously for you, many many days now. Didn't think you'd make it."
And so it was that they nicknamed him 'The resilient one'
For many days chirpy lay in his nest - well fed and warm.
Your personal experience doesn't justify your tagging every man a chauvinist/ pervert and every woman a golf digger or a bitter feminist.
A good man mostly just wants a little respect, some affection and unflinching support through thick and thin .
If you can't give him that, but you can nitpick on his every flaw, you act cold, aloof or make him feel small, you do not deserve him.
A good woman, no matter how independent, mostly just wants to feel protected, secure, and loved.
Now if you interpret that as she being too needy, weak and an opportunistic gold digger, you can shove yourself up your own passage. She'll do better alone or find some better.
