The geologist replied that even a young child knew that it was the birth place of Adi Shankaracharyar. Periyava then told him that the river Purna ran through that place and that Shankarar's mother used to bathe in it every day.

When Nalanda university was destroyed by Baktiyar Khilji THE MUSLIM TURK.....!!!!

...it is said that approximately 9 million books of all topics were burnt because they were against Islamic belief.
Countless Resident Scholars,Teachers, Artisans,Craftsmen were killed by the Mslim army of Khilji.

It is said that the University buildings were burning for 3 months.

But
Many student monks of all denominations...(Hindu, Buddhist,Jain, Atheist) escaped from the carnage carrying with them 1000s of Pothis, Granthas and Sutras in their arms, hidden below their cloaks

He is Sharat. His uncle Govind Started Teaching him Yajurveda at the age of 6. Now, in 2022 sharat is 12 years old and has completed Yajurveda and now is studying krama.
He assists his uncle in teaching newly admitted students and takes care of daily pooja also...😍🙏
Gautama Gurukulam is run by Shri Govind Prabas who is a Adyapak too in vedapatashala. Its in Kanakpura Road, Bangalore.🙏🙏🙏

The old man in the right in this picture can be easily mistaken for a great priest !!! No!  He is Dr. C P. Mathew who was the Head of the Oncology Department at Kottayam Medical College and later principal. On the 'right' is Brahmashree Suryan Subramanian Bhattathiri. 🙏
Dr Mathew was the first oncology professor in Kerala, Head of the Oncology Department at Kottayam Medical College and then the principal. Later when he retired he was a flying doctor & visiting professor of allopathic cancer treatment at universities in more than 50 countries.
At the age of 60, he decided to unlearn everything he had learnt earlier and accepted a _Lada Vaidyan_ (a physician of traditional tribal medical system), whom he met on the street, as his guru.

A Christian missionary was sent to Assam for the promotion of religion. His name was Cruz. He came across to one the boys from an influential family in Assam to teach him English.
The pastor slowly began to study the house and he learned that the boy's grandmother was the most influential person in the house...
So he thought 'Corrupting the grandmother's mind can make the whole family Christian as well as the whole village'. The pastor began to tell Grandma the stories of how Jesus cured leprosy of lepers, how He gave sight to the blind, etc etc ...
