Grant (#YoungSkullMan) led the charge up the Pennsylvania Walkway along with with Ryan Samsel, looking like a team - but they seem not linked before Jan 6. How did that teamwork happen? Grant violently fought with police, then was caught on livestream inside the Capitol. 2/

Tanios & Khater seem like "just" normies, but the worst violence on Jan 5 was from non-militia. They read social media, came armed with bear spray. Officer Sicknick defended the SW Plaza with just a bike helmet, no gas mask. NY Times did a breakdown: 4/ nytimes.com/interactive/20…

On Thursday, pre-trial conference for Guy Refitt could be a spectacle. He's the one who brought a gun to the Capitol, threatened his children with violence, was reported to FBI by his son anyway, now insists on going to trial. 5/

Erik Herrera is a streamer (duvalinpapi), likely will argue he was a journalist on Jan 6. DOJ started with easy cases - Herrera grabbed Congressional papers, has texts (see charging docs) showing sympathies. But "who is a journalist?" will get harder. 7/
