theguardian.com/politics/2021/…
Party No 16/17 - 16 April 2021: Two parties held on the same eve, the day before Prince Philip's funeral.

Both said to be leaving events for members of the PM’s inner circle; then-comms director James Slack, and one for Johnson’s personal photographer.
independent.co.uk/news/uk/politi…
Throughout this entire debacle, with as many as 17 rule-breaking events reported, it’s worth remembering that Downing St repeatedly denied allegations of any wrongdoing. Not only to the press, but in the Commons and during televised press conferences:
theguardian.com/world/2022/jan…
The UK continues to suffer 2 years on, with 154,356 deaths now recorded. But officials, including the PM, have lied, misled, and diverted attention from themselves breaking the same rules imposed on the public.

Release of the Gray report must be immediate, and fully transparent.

🚨POLL ALERT!

🎤 Do you think the Sue Gray's report should be published in full?

1) NO. A non-redacted version could harm the ongoing Met investigation

2) YES. The public should know the details no matter what
Just in case you need evidence that the #partygate ever happened, before it gets buried in some dusty shelf at the #Met for the foreseeable future and disappears from memory, we have kept the receipts for you @receiptkeepers

100,000 Russian troops have amassed at Ukraine’s border, as NATO allies discuss responding with troop deployments.

Russia issued demands for NATO not to expand the alliance, and to deny Ukraine NATO membership. This was rejected by both NATO and the US.
RU State TV claims NATO / Ukraine as the aggressors, aligning with Kremlin rhetoric.

Dennis Volkov, of Moscow-based pollster Levda, said of the situation “it’s important (for the Kremlin) that it continues to look like the West is inflaming the situation”

While, as of yet, no further decision in response has been issued by Putin, State TV is downplaying Russian involvement at the border. Information warfare is how autocrats like Putin influence and undermine democracies.

And it works!
