10 things i've learnt from
building a +60k twitter in 3 mths.
π§΅π
1. be ur niche
- choose 1-3 topics to talk abt and stick to it.
- your content can cater to #NFT founders, traders, marco/mircro market, #defi, #daos, #nodes, passive income, etc.
- choose one and stick to it.
ie.
i choose to talk abt perspective of a founder and what i've learnt along the way.
i also share my degen trade plays on a marco perspective
+ sprinkle in some of my personal life as a #girldad / #nfthusband
2. be ur voice
- u can be loud and proud, or timid and analytical.
- u can be controversial, or reasonable.
- u can be rash and raw, or you can be empathic
- the secret is to be authentic to ur real voice, thats the only way, you can connect.
ie.
i try to stay away from drama, so i remain objective.
i try to be valuable, so i write to give context.
i try to be articulate, so i write threads.
i write abt positivity. i write abt family. i write to give.
3. be consistent
- write every day.
- 100% guaranteed ur first few tweets, posts, threads will have <10 likes.
- its ok. put in the work day by day.
- share like no one is listening.
- the key is to do it whether or not u feel like it, whether or not ppl are reading.
ie.
u don't know whats going to stick, so write every day.
i wrote this piece where i poured my heart in back in oct. 10 likes in the first week. devastated.
don't give up.
4. be relevant
- don't just write to write.
- write to connect.
- how?
- answer what ppl are thinking.
- how?
- scroll through crypto twitter.
- read the sentiment
- provide ur insight.
this is how u answer to what ppl
are thinking of and be relevant.
ie.
3mths ago, almost every project that was launched had a token attached to it. clearly not sustainable and a huge elephant in the room, i decided to write a thread with my take on it.
5. be scalable
- do whats not scalable.
- engage w/ ur comments, this gives u a pulse of what works and what doesn't. this also connects u with ur community.
- doesn't matter how big u get, this should always be the top pillar.
- massive thanks to @garyvee for showing us.
ie.
thats why i try my best to reply, acknowledge to all the replies. this makes me human and is what connects with u, not some bots nor some overseas VA. π
6. be integrated
- start injecting urself in other accs.
- if/when applicable, inject ur take from ur tweets.
- this will funnel audience from bigger accs, into urs.
- the key here - u must have something valuable to add and make sure to customize the msg.
ie.
- in my early days, i'd inject myself in a comment to an account that has massive numbers.
- i give my insight, in addition to the topic. then i point to a more thorough take in my attached tweet thread.
7. be respectful
- no one wants to follow ppl who are
rude, demeaning, and entitled.
- everyone deserves to be treated respectfully.
- doesn't matter how many followers u have, u are still a regular joe in real life.
- be nice, be kind, be respectful.
ie.
- i always ask myself, how would i like to be treated b/c not long ago, i was right there asking the same questions, asking for help.
- b/c of my lack of time, i write these threads that can help u along ur journey.
- be nice, it doesn't cost u anything. π
8. be tactical
- giveaways, collabs, invite trains
- hashtags, follow groups/trains, twitter raids,
- sponsored ads, paid influencer, etc.
*not recommending any of these, just listing it out.
tactics will remain tactics, rarely much longevity.
stay ur course, deliver value.
day after day.
final thoughts:
focus on the impact that u make, not the number.
number is just a vanity metric and truly has no meaning.
have fun and enjoy the ride.
learn, write, try, share, experience, tell.
everything is a journey, so might as well enjoy the ride.
like + retweet for more bts insights
much loveπ

Missing some Tweet in this thread? You can try to
force a refresh
first, bull run makes u feel a certain way.
- it makes u feel the absence of gravity.
- that theres a party in the air.
- that everyones happy and excited.
- that every narrative makes so much sense!
- that every project is and will x2/x3/x10!
- that u are missing out!!!
1. tax harvest is a real thing - ppl taking loss to minimize on tax before year end, making market uncertain. new yr rolls ard, everyones rdy to get back to the table.
this morning waking up to +$6k airdrop from $sos got me sooo inspired and excited. im intrigued with the sheer amount of "free" money being airdropped to users by different projects - $rare, $ens, $sos etc.
lets break down why and howπ
1. reward early users disproportionally
rewarding early users disproportionally creates evangelist who will forever rave abt the project. ultimately, its the "community" who will help the project rise from all the noise in the market.
as a founder, im curious on the events that led to this monstrous acquisition and what we can learn from it so we can apply it to our own creations.
lets dive π
disclaimer:
- this is purely my observation from the outside
- i don't own any rtfkt NFTs
TDLR:
4 main reasons that led to the acquistion 1. founders - business acumen + years of bg 2. partners - deep + wide connections 3. community - reward passionate tribe 4. niche - perfect alignment with laser focus
dm's always swamped with ppl
asking for project suggestions
so here its goes
i evaluate nft projects based on 1. future potential 2. project depth 3. community 4. development team
(this is irrespective of the market condition)
(not financial advise/dyor)
π
1. future potential
- some of the biggest corps are diving into the metaverse - facebook, softbank, grayscale, a16z, etc.
- we see that with $sand doing a whooping x8 in just under a mth.
- some of the biggest virtual land sale plays are happening right now.
