I was worried Orbits wouldn't tune into vlive today, so I thought about making the title like "2022 CSAT Korean History tutoring" or something to get people to join

Someone says they're listening through earbuds while in the living room with grandparents (or something)

TMI is about the food she ate

Introducing herself to the family: "Hello I am Yves from LOONA, the person listening to this is in our fanclub named Orbit, and we are in a loving relationship!"

She's telling stories about how her conscience couldn't handle lying to her mom, calling her mom repeatedly while she was at work to confess about messing with the VHS player they had (she's told that story before), and so on

Then a counselor recommended that she just not do the bad things in the first place instead of telling her mom afterwards every time. That was a hard habit to get over but she grew out of calling her mom all the time to confess every little thing she felt guilty about

Like when she got lectured by her mom she would just think "mom's so dumb..." then the angel in her head would be like, did you call your mom dumb? And the devil in her head would say it's ok if you keep it to yourself
so she figures that she was a very difficult child to raise

She likes her galaxy z flip 3 because it makes recording videos for choreo and stuff really easy when it's flipped 90 degrees.

She got a used iPhone 5 or 6S for the more retro resolutions for taking some photos. And old iPhones are light, so it doesn't feel heavy in her bag.

She notes how there are some smartphones that go for cheap on the used marketplace. But she sent someone a msg then checked later, found the user was deactivated due to being reported a lot

The yyxy phone incident? I told you everyone, we'll tell you about it sometime later.

I did see Hyeju's song cover, she did well. Saw her messing around with the tree a lot too. I think the song choice fit her well.

She's still debating on what she should sing for DALPLY, herself. Because once you go, she'll have to wait a long time for her next turn. So she doesn't want to pick a song she'll regret later

Some of the buffering's caused when she minimizes the VLIVE app, she minimized to give song recs by request

She asked her sister if she should sing a pop song or a Korean song and she said the latter. Yves finds the lyrics important in songs, so will it be a sad song, or a bright, encouraging song.

"But what would Orbits like?" Endless internal debates like that while deciding the song. So her DALPLY gets delayed. Then stress, wondering why she can't make a choice.

DALPLY prep has stopped for now, as they're prepping for the concert.

"Yeah, my initial idea for DALPLY was Easy on Me (Adele)".

Next time I do a video vlive, I'll sing this in the vocal room.

Q: any fun stories from concert preparations?

We got to participate in making the set list for the first time. Before, we hadn't done many concerts and it was left to the company for the most part, but this time we mentioned wanting to give our input and it's been so long,

so we put ourselves in Orbits' position. Like Orbits would like to hear this. So practicing for the concert was very fun. We got to offer outfit ideas too.

Q: Solo stage this time too?

You're looking forward to it right? I am too. I talked with Lip about seeing fans in person. I think I'll get so nervous.

So my worry is , with Orbits in front of me, I get overexcited and expend too much energy at first, and getting tired later, as I want to show you cool performances. I'll work hard preparing! I think it'll be so fun though.

She saw the Butterfly @ KCON video while going home on the bus, and she was looking at the comments and saw a comment that made her tear up, it was like "I think LOONA's gonna do really well, there's no gg like them"

And I was like how come I'm so emotional? But there's just that vibe in the night bus, right? It's dark outside, no one's talking, I'm watching the performance on my own.

The Orbits in LA cheering, though we love Orbits in Korea too, it was their first time meeting us, so it was like we were debuting. So it felt kind of like debuting again, and I think we all wanted to show our best for them with our performance there.

Do people recognize you public places?
Ohhh, no. If you recognize me I'll dance PTT for you. really. I'm not easy to identify.

Our old apartment had a bus that we took to and from, actually.

Go Won was on the bus too once, and Yves went over to say hi, but Go Won just looked at her until she realized

(she's impersonating Go Won here) saying how Go Won said Yves can be hard to recognize, due to her wide range of clothes, plus this was Yves with long hair

"Yeah, she's right here. I brought Go Won in my carrier bag."

Exercise tips?
I don't like exercise, but I feel better when I run. So I just enjoy running.
Tough things with Pilates/PT, when you're doing hanging or climbing motions, I imagines I'm on a cliff, so if I lets go I'll fall. So one more pull-up to live, things like that.

We did situps in school and I did the most in the class, including all the boys and girls. Maybe it was because I was younger, can't do that nowadays.

Whenever she gets tired while exercising... (she's acting out the angel and devil in her head telling her to "let's keep exercising to show the fans these abs" vs "let's just give up for today, no one's gonna notice if I skip a day")

Except Yves' rendition of the angel kinda sounds mean to chat, (the angel was saying things like if you don't work hard for the fans, they'll unstan and find another group)

chat: can you speak english?
Yves: sigh....... everyone, give us confidence in our english skills. Spent so much in English lessons but don't have confidence in English. I'm studying hard. I do speaking practice, and I'm enrolled in English lessons too.

The angel and devil acting is back for her English lesson struggles
angel: Let's work hard to show Orbits great English! (etc)
devil: hey nah it's whatever, just talk in Korean they'll figure it out anyways

Yves reading chat: Man this angel's so strict, you have to do everything, exercise, get good at English, ...

She's been using satoori with the devil, so chat suggests giving the angel satoori too to make the angel seem more friendly

She says she finds an angel orbit in the chat who says her english was good

She moves on to reading another thing in chat and accidentally says "Hobbits" (getting mixed up while reading hobak-cha = pumpkin tea, though there's a Korean joke with "Orbits" here too)

This is your fault, someone asked if I was drinking beer. I'm looking for your message.

Yves: yeah this message, oh, the username has Son Hyeju in it? Like singer, like fan huh? Son Hyeju explain yourself.

She then turns around and says sorry to Hyeju and the fan. "You know I'm messing around right? Love you"

Any movie she's watching lately? None

Any domestic travel destinations she has in mind lately? She hasn't gone traveling in quite a while.

She will have rice cake soup [per Korean lunar new year tradition] tomorrow.

Q: Story from Super Yuppers! challenge?

Exy called me about the challenge, and actually when I get requests I'm thankful if anything, so I said that would be great and got Dayoung's number, and set a date to record that. But I thought it would just be her,

and got a coffee and a small cake as a gift while I went, but WJSN sunbaenims were prepping for a fan meeting so they were all there.

So I got nervous seeing everyone, and it was my first time seeing Dayoung too so I was nervous. But Soobin and Exy unnie warmly eased me in, saying "hey it's been a while! Missed you!"

And they were sitting in front as I recorded that, so it was a little embarrassing, and I didn't want to make mistakes since they were waiting. And I overthought it and got the choreo mixed up, but Dayoung so kindly went over the choreo again with me. She's so kind.

And Chuu and I got a bottle of wine for Dayoung as thanks for having us on for the challenge. Because we're thankful as well.

Like, it means that people think of us as being able to promote challenges like these, And Orbits like these videos too.

Growl cover - the company's opened up to the idea of having members do things like this, so she got to go.
This wasn't the case when Youngji/Yoojung/Chaeyeon did the Ringa Linga cover 4 months ago

Yves couldn't bring herself to talk to others a lot with so many people around there though, she thinks she's more talkative/social in smaller groups

But she told Youngji too that the company's opened up to these opportunities now though if they want to do other things

And the 3 year concert break, it was unfortunate, right? We're preparing performances you can enjoy to try making up for all that time. I hope you enjoy the concert.

She didn't even go to a rest stop on the way home to minimize contact with the concert in mind taking a 5 hour straight bus ride and washing her hands immediately when she got home

She'll head off now, says have a good night, have a good time with family if you're with them for the lunar new year
