“Further investigation revealed that Patel allegedly colluded and inflated rates for the IT and network services rendered to Cell C while working as an Administrator at Techno Genius on the same period
“However, Michelle Pillay reportedly received approximately R3 million into her bank account as proceeds of crime.
“During the pair’s appearance this morning, the court granted both a R30 000 bail each.
“The case is postponed to 16 February 2022 for docket disclosure and will be joining their husbands, Adriaan Pillay and Mohamed Ismail Adamjee, and their co-accused Manuel Reimaldo Teixeira ( 62), and Lufuno Lesly Nevhutalu (59) who were arrested on a similar fraud…

Hundreds of vehicles have passed through the Zwartkop Raceway drive thru vaccination site.
By 6pm, there were still scores of cars waiting in the queue.
The drive thru will be open until 9pm.
The site will open from 9am to 5pm tomorrow and on Sunday.
“The turnout has been massive. The opening of the registration to over 18s saw a flood of people streaming to the drive thru. Within the first 90 minutes, 50 between the ages of 18 and 34 got their jabs,” said Yusuf Abramjee who is overseeing the site.
