Online sales hit $5 trillion in 2021.

There is still a BIG opportunity to take a piece of the pie.

Spend a few minutes reading this thread.

And learn what I wish I knew earlier…

1. High ticket vs Low Ticket

Would you rather sell?

1 x $2000 product

or

100 x $20 product

I would always go for the $2000 sale:

> Less admin
> Less to go wrong
> Less customer service

And you still take home the same profit.

2. Pick rich customers

Always sell to rich people.

It's easier.

They hit the buy button

And 95% of the time, you never hear from them again.

But what do you sell them...

3. Finding products

You don't need to reinvent the wheel.

There are 1000's of products selling online every second.

You need to find $500+ products to sell.

Search Google, Amazon and Wayfair for inspiration.

Pick one.

Then you need traffic...

4. Fearing competition

"But there's people already selling the product?"

Good!

If people are selling it, they're making money.

There's room for more than 1 seller with High Ticket eCom.

Some tips if your just starting out...

Make sure there is:

• 5-10 competitors
• Stores running Google text ads
• Stores running ads are online only

"Why check if they're online only?"

They're using the same method as you.

And once you've validated the niche...

5. Build your store

Keep your store SIMPLE.

Buy a theme for Shopify.

And make your store is:

> User friendly
> Trustworthy
> And fast

You can sell the best product in the world.

But if your store looks poop.

You won't sell a thing.

And also...

6. Build a brand

Brand is important with high ticket ecom.

I always say to people I mentor:

"Make your ecom store look less like a dropshipping store"

How do you do this?

Check out big brands colour schemes, logo, content etc.

Focus on continuity - this builds trust.

7. Never give up

You only fail if you give up.

Before every success there's hard times.

The secret of success?

Take daily action.

You will make mistakes.

Things will go wrong.

Never give up.

And something to improve your chances...

8. Get a Coach

Confession time - I made a mistake.

I didn't get a coach as soon as I should of.

Think about it...

Is it better to pay $150 for coaching now?

Or waste $1000's on ads?

And months of time?

For 0 sales.

Pay up front > win faster...

9. Convert Traffic

Focus on CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation)

Every visitor to your ecom store is a potential buyer.

Make it EASY for them to buy from you.

10. High quality traffic

Focus on mastering 1 traffic source at a time.

One good traffic source beats 5 bad ones.

The plan is:

• Build an ads funnel
• Make some sales
• Optimize ads
• Scale ads

Cars don't work without fuel...

And paid ads are the fuel for your sales!

11. Paid traffic = Google ads

Google ads is a hidden gem.

You hear about FB and Tik Tok.

But for high ticket ecom...

Google Ads is the one.

Build a good ad funnel and you're flying.

Then?

12. Build organic traffic

You make sales with paid traffic first.

And then you focus on organic traffic:

> Build a blog
> Content on collections
> Links to your home page
> Target high volume, buyer intent keywords

You'll be swimming in traffic…

13. Product Pages

Focus on these things:

- Images
- Trust badges
- Add to cart button
- Infographics in the description
- Get unique video content of products

Set yourself apart from the crowd.

Remember, customers value unique insights....

14. Collection pages

WARNING!

Don't sleep on collection pages.

When you're making sales...

Add text to the top and bottom of the page

This will help rank them.

You won't regret it...

15. Reduce clicks

You should aim 3 clicks to buy from any page.

Reduce friction for the buyer.

Avoid distraction.

And fancy widgets (they don't work).

16. Answer the phone

Get a phone number.

And make it visible on your store.

We frequently close $10k+ sales on the phone.

Plus it gives customers confidence too.

Act like a REAL business.

Earn like a REAL business.

17. Automate

Your store is making sales consistently.

You need to reduce time in your biz:

- Get the Zapier app
- Build email flows
- Employ a VA

Work on your business.

Not in your business.

And finally...

18. Scale to the Moon!

Double down on what's working.

Scale your paid ads.

Increase budgets.

Up the ad bids (on what sells).

And you'll be on your way to $10k/month profit in under 12 months
