It is unfortunate that the IG of @PoliceNG is drowning in confusion in the cocoon of corrupt felons he has found himself at the Force HQ. The Police Act 2020 was clear on the mandate of the @PoliceNG_CRU but corruption is fighting back within the system.
This week alone @SIAF_NG has recovered over N2M from kidnappers within the police system in Lagos not to mention Delta, Benin and cases from other states. This was what citizens widely protested against during the #EndSARS protest of 2020. Instead of waiting for NEC to act…
…The forces of corruption around the IGP have been hell bent on destroying the Police Complaint Unit with administrative road blocks to cover up the crimes of their colleagues. Reports have been blocked from reaching the IG & now they are launching a parallel complaint committee
All against the provision of the Police Act 2020 and the Minster for Police Affairs has been dragged into the whirlpool of corruption and ambiguity. While we appeal to President @MBuhari to call these enemies of our civilization to order, we reiterate the need for NEC to act!
The Report of the various Judicial Panel of Inquiry across Nigeria MUST be acted upon before another wave of nationwide protest which will be necessary to counter the current plot by police leadership bent on reinforcing the culture of impunity across Nigeria. #ReformPoliceNG
This is the same way they rendered the Police Service Commission moribund that simple disciplinary action of senior officers are hardly completed in years while most are simply swept under the carpet for political reasons. We will not allow this to take root. #EndImpunity 🚔

Every time an opportunity presents itself for our youth to engage leaders in the society, they waste such opportunity with attitudes that justifies their relegation. Rather than aim to score a point or trend with rants and popular gossips, why not ask questions that matter? ⛱
The woke-culture styled belligerent and uncultured engagement of the left wing press with Trump is not a standard. They were doing this as a means of auditioning to be tapped for rattling/triggering the President. They know the reward in endorsement & book deals.
What would your gain be in Nigeria? A 3-4 hour feature on the Twitter trend table? And then what?
It may take years before you get this but I will say it all the same. Every time you speak or share your views, it is read and heard as though you’re speaking for your generation.
There’re many Nigerians stuck abroad living in abject poverty & horrendous impecuniosity. Some of them were once professionals & mildly educated for self sustenance until the need to declare their insolvency. It even gets worse with the current pandemic induced hardship for most.
But this doesn’t excuse criminality in any clime.
Nigeria being a dystopian society, where the electorates are easily swayed by falsehood to the point of stampeding the worst of souls into public office, people stranded abroad often get unmerited awards from the ruining class.
This is why you’ll find a sitting Governor illegally Award Contract to stranded souls at the expense of the suffering masses in his state as part of his strings of failure in office.
It doesn’t take the study of psychology to find such worthless souls spread falsehood…
The essence of intervention is not to shield the systemic failure but to indemnify the citizen from unnecessary losses, while using the incident as a case to fix the ailing system. Commendation of the intervention need not create the impression that this will be a going concern.
Holding institutions of state to account can either be done with the expression of discontent to create awareness and public condemnation with peaceful rallies followed up with an advocacy that monitors the implementation of the recommendations or via legislative intervention.
We very much know the legislative intervention rarely gets triggered without political will and demonstration of discontent alone however dramatic & emotionally driven, won’t cut it especially if it involves the demonization of persons without a follow up strategy.
Before I was 21, I was having my Bear & Lion sessions in obscurity studying & perfecting my skills in purpose. I learnt process from reputable firms & in my 20s I was part of the birthing of big tech/media firms. In my 30s I focused on studying leaders for remote mentorship.
At this point I was not seeking companies to work for but projects to birth & visions to help articulate. Between 35-40 I was focused on building our nation. There’s no point raising children in a hostile environment as a ‘one percenter’ when we can bring value to all.
From 45 & beyond as a global consultant & advisor, it’s all about building our youth, contributing to researches, facilitating policies & monitoring implementation of policies & evaluation of the impact for the sakes of all our children. It’s about Legacy! #LiveSignificantly
We made it categorically clear that we do not want any untrained/half baked Tactical Squad of the @PoliceNG roaming our streets. This was what the agitation against the culture of impunity was about with #EndSARS#ReformPoliceNG Advocacy. We @SIAF_NG have been getting reports…🚔
…that the SWAT team that now occupies the ADENIJI base of the defunct FSARS have started kidnapping and robbing citizens of biblical sums. A fresh report came in now, where N550,000.00 was forcefully extorted at gunpoint from someone abducted at the ikoyi link bridge.
It is unfortunate that @followlasg is yet to recover from the losses from the Protest against Police Brutality and it seemed our rogue units in the Police learnt nothing from this incident. We have notified the authorities and by morning we will fish out the rogue officers.
We all have that voice within that tells us constantly that we’re not good enough. One that makes you feel invisible, amplifies impossibility & ultimately makes us fetishize our sadness in depression. It remains our responsibility to drown it out by taking up challenges.⛱
If you have been driven to believe you are alone in this, snap out of self pity and find a reason to wake up each day. Begin with physical exercises, enroll in something you enjoy that keeps you engaged even if it doesn’t bring money. Take baby steps & know that you matter.
We are in deep shit in Nigeria and globally because majority of the miracles that we are are yet to manifest and the world is waiting. You are not useless neither are you a biological accident as reinforced by the constant societal passive-aggressive messaging. Value yourself.
