On August 11, 2021 the Republican National Committee (RNC) adopted and circulated a document called ‘Report of the Temporary Committee on Election Integrity’. In essence, it’s a 24 page, after-action review of the 2020 election to determine what went wrong. A wee thread 🧵👇🏻
My intention was not to find this document so I am not going to focus on its entirety. I leave that to you as the full document is linked right here if you want to read it. I suggest you do, but here, we’ll focus on just a few aspects.

prod-static.gop.com/media/document…
Probably the most important thing the Republican National Committee is reporting to the Republicans for which this document was intended, is its first finding. You will notice the most impactful issue was not massive voter fraud or stolen election, it was unsurprisingly COVID.
Also, I think it is important to point out the language that is used. Remember, this is republicans talking to republicans about election integrity. They use words like:

✌🏻enact meaningful election reforms✌🏻

What this really means is:

🗣🎙VOTER SUPPRESSION LAWS!!!
Also up there👆🏻, they lament a lack of public access to election records and data. They are arguing that your data should be publicly available, but what they mean here is, it should be available to them. So they can then study it, and find out how best to use it…against you.
That seems awfully Cambridge Analytica of them, doesn’t it?
But at the heart of this, is ‘Election Integrity’. We’ve heard this so often from the Ivan Raiklin types. Take a look at all these ‘Election Integrity’ projects popping up all over the country. Like in places where they were filing lawsuits and demanding audits.(📌1)
The party that has been against cancel culture, that has told you the Democrats were taking away your freedom of speech is recommending they ‘retire’ the words ‘Election Day Operations’ from the republican lexicon.
Which brings me to the point of this thread. The RNC *had* Election Day Operations Directors. More than likely a very normal thing to have someone on the ground the day of the election. Someone from the campaign to oversee things for their candidate. But let’s look deeper.
We just saw above that it was Ivan Raiklin, a former Green Beret, former Defense Intelligence Agency alum (just like Mike Flynn and Phil Waldron 🤔) trained in irregular warfare, holding ‘Election Integrity’ calls with the states. Is this what the RNCs report is recommending?
So if RNC is retiring Election Day Operations in favor of Election Integrity Operations, was Raiklin in contact with those who served in Election Day Operations? Such as Election Day Operations Directors for example? Were there such things as Election Day Operations Directors?
Yes. Yes, there were.

Most importantly though, were there any in the states that sent fraudulent electors? Because if the point was ‘Election Integrity’, then surely, these Election Integrity, Election Day Operation Directors would have put a stop to any shenanigans, right?
Well, there was definitely one in Pennsylvania. Mark Roman. PA had identified a slate of fraudulent electors, but changed the language on their fraudulent certificate to, ya know, avoid criming. Hopefully the Election Day Director’s integrity…

Aww jeez

theguardian.com/us-news/2020/o…
Waging war on voting doesn’t seem like something an Election Integrity Director should be doing.

Let’s see if there were any others. Wisconsin sent 2 fraudulent electors. Did they slip past Michael Brown?

Let’s let him update us…uh oh…these look like talking points.🤦🏼‍♂️
Let’s leave the cold of WI behind and go to a warm place where there were no fraud electors (🤷🏼‍♂️) and take a break from all that. Let’s put our masks on, head to Florida to see who’s in charge and if there are reasons to get our Susan Collins on.
Yes? Why?

Thread side note: Did you know that the announcement above is for Joe Gruters to lead the very Election Integrity Committee that produced the report that began this thread? Yeah, I know right.

Did I meta? Was that a meta? I honestly don’t know.
Sorry about taking us to Florida. That was my fault. It’s a more dry heat we’re after anyway.

What about in Arizona? They sent 11 fraudulent electors. Their Election Day Operations Director must have been busy Election Integrity-ing.
Ugh…the Arizona and New Mexico Election Day Operations Director also moderates mail-in ballot discussions for the Federalist Society and Heritage Foundation. I’m sure it’s fine.
‘Lane’ though🤔 I feel like I just saw a ‘Lane’ somewhere. Weird. Anyway in Arizona, we can now watch the moment those 11 fraudulent electors signed those fraudulent certificates being passed out by a gentlemen in a smart blue jacket.
There it was again! ‘Lane’. Who is the person in the trump campaign jacket passing out the fraudulent certificates for Arizona’s fraudulent electors? Is passing out fraudulent certificates the type of thing the RNC envision their Election Integrity Directors do?
How about Virginia’s?

📌1 had an embedded thread in the tweet. In that, you will see the name Hartman highlighted. It is in reference to an Al Hartman a billionaire from Texas who, well…I’m going to have to end this thread at some point but here…take a look….
Hartman being on the phone with Ivan Raiklin making Election Integrity calls is interesting. He was also making calls to @EverettStern1.
Is this ok. It doesn’t feel ok. This is not business as usual. This is not a party serious about Election Integrity, this is a party who wants to win at all costs and rule rather than lead. Democracy or Fascism. That is our choice.

#RememberInNovember and vote.
We have to look at this and see there is a plan. Do @TheDemocrats have a plan to save our democracy? Do they have the will to see this for what it is and pass voting rights?

For Election Integrity?

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, no matter how big you think this story is you need to double it…Now, triple that. Let’s take a look at where this recent part is all heading (TLDR: Congress) and remember who is doing it. A wee coup thread. 🧵 👇🏻

#RememberInNovember
It’s pretty fair to say that the amount of evidence that has been uncovered to date, tells us that the trump/Republican coup attempt to end democracy was a vast, wide-ranging conspiracy.

We do need to remember, Republicans helped. #RememberInNovember
All we have to do is look at arrests, who the @January6thCmte wants to talk to, and who was around trump. We know that Oathkeepers are indicted for Seditious Conspiracy. That’s a big charge, and rarely used because coups are rare.

1. Grey’s Anatomy. Big show, right? Millions of people watch it. It became like a thing for awhile there, remember team McDreamy or team McSteamy? It was so big, even I know about it as a pop culture reference.

A wee SCOTUS 🧵👇🏻
2. Ok, so medical rom/com/dramas may not be your thing, maybe you like rockets. Rockets are badass. The ones that break through Earth’s atmosphere to allow for people to orbit the Earth, travel to the Moon and back, explore the farthest reaches of our imagination, is badass.
3. Ooh or Spies! Everyone likes a good spy story right? The danger, the bravery, the intrigue. The amount of courage it takes to move between two sides of a war knowing if the enemy found you out, you would surely be done for. Risking your own life to save others. Heroic.

What a week, huh? Saturday’s are usually the days where I’ll recycle a thread or two. Maybe send something you may have missed along the way and you can catch up on reading over a nice warm mug. Not today. Today, we ask questions about North Carolina. A wee Saturday🧵👇🏻
This article gives us an important reminder or two…Mark Meadows is from NC. He was trump’s Chief of staff. This 👇🏻is telling us that Col Psyops used Meadows office in the WH to brief SC Sen Lindsey Graham. 📌

On what exactly?

@January6thCmte

@weareoversight has received 1000s of docs from AZ. They asked for info regarding communications of Senate Pro Tem Phil Berger and his legislative assistant Robin Braswell in NC too.

Why?🤷🏼‍♂️

The names on this list include those who are showing to be integral to the AZ audit. Image

Justice Breyer is retiring, Justice Thomas’ wife needs scrutiny, Justices Duff-man, No Mask and Blank Sheet have no business being on the court, but we might need to start talking about Justice Alito. Let’s let Sidney Powell show us why.🧵👇🏻

defendingtherepublic.org/wp-content/upl…
Former judge and current congressman from Texas’ 1st District Louie Gohmert filed a lawsuit against Vice President Mike Pence. Well, his lawyers filed the lawsuit. His lawyers were from a group called Defending the Republic. See below to know who that is.
Gohmert, sorry Sidney Powell argued that the Electoral Count Act was unconstitutional (📌1). This article from Powell also now reveals that House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy and his number 2, Whip Steve Scalise, worked to support Gohmert and Powell’s efforts. Image

Here is the decision to detain Stewart Rhodes. He will be held until his trial. Read this to learn Rhodes hasn’t filed taxes since 2007, he is in a relationship with Kellye Sorrelle (duh) oh…and the violence.
This was not an unarmed insurrection. 🧵👇🏻

storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.usco…
I want to pay particularly close attention to the part about what ‘the Serbian’ was advising. Remember, Rhodes has been at this for awhile. He’s been building infrastructure. This seems an awful lot like Oathkeepers efforts to reach out to local sheriffs. Constitutional Sheriffs.
Swarming the streets and confronting opponents? This is eerily similar to what the proud boys were doing in Oregon.

The evidence of the many paths to the coup is mounting. We were told Jeffrey Bossert Clark refused to answer @January6thCmte questions and just left. But the transcript of the hearing is 50 pages. He didn’t just leave, you guys. Let’s look deeper 🧵👇🏻

docs.house.gov/meetings/IJ/IJ…
Clark refused to answer questions claiming executive privilege that the president himself, through his legal advisor in Georgia Doug Collins (📌1), didn’t even claim. trump actually explicitly, stated he would ‘not seek judicial intervention to prevent [Clark’s] testimony.’
But Clark still refused to provide answers. Why?

It’s gotta be because he is in seriously deep s#it, he knows it, he exposes himself to significant legal jeopardy if he says the wrong thing, and the info he can share is the only hope he has of avoiding a life in prison.
