Watching streams tonight from Convoy participants themselves, it’s very clear they believe the silent majority of Ottawa and Canada is behind them.

Many don’t believe police have the authority to arrest them. Supply seizures have been called ‘war crimes.’

Speaking with protestors since the beginning of this, Evan’s experience is a very strong indication of any random sample you take in this crowd.

This is part of the mass complication of dealing with this convoy, one of the many. But how do you reason with people so delusional and irrational to the point enforcing the law?

It’s something Police are no doubt dealing with on a daily basis, in interactions like these.

I took a walk of the whole perimeter tonight, and while a few are still set to party, the sense of unknown is very much setting in on this crowd.

Looming is an expected Police ‘something.’ It’s palpable.

No one knows what. They’re all waiting like we are.

But I think it should be pointed out the noted dangers of pushing people so deep in delusion to confrontation.

Couple that with some of the darker elements that are present at this protest, as outlined here by @mattgurney, the chances of this ending without danger are growing thinner.

There’s a powder keg now spread out over several city blocks in the DT core and other satellite spaces.

It’s hard to see how we got here in the first place but we’re here. And it doesn’t look like we’re close to being over.

But either police are going to have to light it or it lights itself and police intervene. Few options remain./FIN
