ಸುಮಾರು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹಿಂದೆ ಭೈರಂಬೆ ಬಟ್ಟೆ ವಿನಾಯಕ ದೇವಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣಾಶ್ರಮದ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಗಳಿಂದ 3 ದಿನದ ಅಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮ ಶಿಬಿರ ಏರ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.

ಆ ವೇಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೈಸೂರಿನಿಂದ ಬಂದ ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿಯವರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀ ಜಗದಾತ್ಮಾನಂದ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಶ್ರೀಗಳವರ ದರ್ಶನ ಪಡೆಯುವ ಅಭಿಲಾಷೆಯವನ್ನು ಭೈರಂಬೆ ಕೆ.ಮ್ ಹೆಗಡೆ ಅವ್ರ ಹತ್ತಿರ ವ್ಯಕ್ತ ಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

ಅವ್ರ ಆಸೆಯಂತೆ ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಗುರುಗಳ ಅನುಮತಿಪಡೆದು ಮರುದಿನ ಅವ್ರನ್ನ ಶ್ರೀ ಸ್ವರ್ಣವಲ್ಲಿ ಮಠಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬರಲಾಯಿತು. ಮಠದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ದೇವರ ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ವಜ್ಞೇಂದ್ರ ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ಮಹಾಸ್ವಾಮಿಗಳ ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ಮಾಳಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕರೆತಂದರು.

One day a very reputed Geologist happened to visit Kanchipuram to have darshan of Kanchi Paramacharya. After enquiring about his family Swamigal asked him if he would do Him a favour....

The geologist was overcome as he wondered what it was that he, a mere mortal could help the Saakshaat Deivam with. He immediately agreed. Mahaperiya asked him if he knew about Kaladi.

The geologist replied that even a young child knew that it was the birth place of Adi Shankaracharyar. Periyava then told him that the river Purna ran through that place and that Shankarar's mother used to bathe in it every day.

When Nalanda university was destroyed by Baktiyar Khilji THE MUSLIM TURK.....!!!!

...it is said that approximately 9 million books of all topics were burnt because they were against Islamic belief.

Countless Resident Scholars,Teachers, Artisans,Craftsmen were killed by the Mslim army of Khilji.

It is said that the University buildings were burning for 3 months.

But

Many student monks of all denominations...(Hindu, Buddhist,Jain, Atheist) escaped from the carnage carrying with them 1000s of Pothis, Granthas and Sutras in their arms, hidden below their cloaks
