Friends, it’s time to check-in on Ottawa’s nightlife!

As I reported yesterday, Ottawa’s second hottest club, Wellington St, was undergoing renos but they’ve gone bigger than I could imagine

They’ve added a massive big screen behind the DJ, to accompany the VIP deck #ottnews

This goes without saying, but Wellington St has everything.

Postal service, ear protection and even satellite TV.

I wonder if the Super Bowl will be on the big screen on Sunday… #cdnpoli #ottnews

It’s raining tonight but that hasn’t stopped Ottawa newest club, O’Connor’s, from opening!

O’Connor’s has been functioning as a daycare normally, and even got a visit from the police yesterday to offer the parents help from child services. #cdnpoli #ottnews

If you’re tired from dancing or just want to dry off from the rain, you can pop into the Freedom Beer Tent and enjoy a view of the Peace Tower from Wellington.

The DJ is done and the big screen is shut down but that isn’t stopping our latest celebrity, Elmo, from feeling the love from the crowd.

When I go clubbing, I hate to wait in line for the washroom.

The newly created Freedom Beer Tent has already relocated up the street to a better real estate but it turns out, it’s not actually a beer tent.

It’s a supply tent with hay, folding tables, tools and a generator #cdnpoli #ottnews

Now that the Freedom Beer Tent has become the Freedom Supply Tent, folks are using the supplies to create a new Freedom Beer Tent, right beside it.

No word on if anyone plans to jump through a folding table from the supply tent. If they do, please invite @glen_mcgregor

If the DJ has stopped spinning and you want to keep blowing off some steam, there are plenty of shovels to get rid of the snow.
