Friends, it’s time to check-in on Ottawa’s nightlife.

It’s the biggest crowd yet at Ottawa’s Hottest Club, Wellington St.

They were spinning tunes when I first arrived but what I can only describe as a J-Roc impersonator was hyping the crowd after #cdnpoli #ottnews

If you’ve been following this series, you already know that Ottawa’s Hottest Club, Wellington St, has everything.

It has either Starsky or Hutch, more porta potties than needed and an Infowars fan #cdnpoli #ottnews

Wellington St became Ottawa’s Hottest Club because of extensive renos but they’ve added yet another feature to the VIP Deck.

An LED sign is now up to ask some friends like Jordan Peterson, Joe Rogan, Don Cheery and Tucker Carlson to come hang out

After being downgraded to Ottawa’s second hottest club (as determined by me), Rideau and Sussex stepped up their game up tonight.

The DJ is back, the speakers are blaring, the diesel is pungent and they are playing the hits #cdnpoli #ottnews

In a bid to rebuild their tattered reputation, Ottawa’s Second Hottest club, Rideau and Sussex, pulled out the stops to show it has everything.

One drawback to Rideau and Sussex, long lines to go to the washroom.

It is -26 right now, and it’s clear that 4 porta potties won’t cut it.

When I was headed back to the office, I saw a bunch of cops getting organized and I thought that someone might be getting arrested.

Turns out this dude fell over and they just went to help him. #cdnpoli #ottnews

Friends, I’m back out on the streets and we have a new contender for Ottawa’s Hottest Club.

The Freedom Beer Tent is now playing club beats and the mainly Québécois crowd is loving it.

The truckers are also laying on the horn so they drop the beat #cdnpoli #ottnews

As any top club would, The Freedom Beer Tent has everything.

One drawback for the Freedom Beer Tent, it’s just a dude playing stuff from his phone.

That wouldn’t be acceptable at Ottawa’s Second Hottest Club, Rideau and Sussex but the crowd loves it anyways #cdnpoli #ottnews

Ottawa’s Hottest Club, Wellington St, has closed for the night but looks like the Bitcoin flag guy (who was here last weekend) might be scouting out a potential sponsorship deal #cdnpoli #ottnews

Ottawa’s Second Hottest Club, Rideau and Sussex is still going strong, despite the crowd thinning out a little bit.

The truckers are revving their engine which lets out a bunch of diesel smoke and I cannot describe just how bad it smells #cdnpoli #ottnews

On my second time out tonight, I spent about 40 minutes in the crowd and I didn’t see a single cops walking around. They are all in their cars like this, just listening to the party #cdnpoli #ottnews

At Bank and Riveraide, counter protestors have held up a number of cars attempting to join up with the convoy folks.

Here video at the numbers of cars held up, sent to me by a counter protestor #cdnpoli #ottnews

Here’s a look at the crowd that has gathered at Bank and Riverside.

Considerably more counter protestors compared to trucks trying to get through #cdnpoli #ottnews

Police have been trying to negotiate with the counter protestors to get them to move, with no success.

When the crowd said they’re not leaving, One cop just came up to them asked “so how does this end then?”

That did not go over well with the crowd #cdnpoli #ottnews

Protestors have ripped down the barriers step up at the War Memorial.

They were up because people were using the memorial as a toilet and jumping on the tomb of the unknown soldier #cdnpoli #ottnews

The people who took it down seem to be a group of veterans.

They were all called up to the front to stand right at the front of the monument #cdnpoli #ottnews

They then did a prayer, where among other things, they called on the Prime Minister to drop vaccine mandates #cdnpoli #ottnews

As I reported yesterday, Ottawa’s second hottest club, Wellington St, was undergoing renos but they’ve gone bigger than I could imagine

They’ve added a massive big screen behind the DJ, to accompany the VIP deck #ottnews

This goes without saying, but Wellington St has everything.

Postal service, ear protection and even satellite TV.

I wonder if the Super Bowl will be on the big screen on Sunday… #cdnpoli #ottnews

It’s raining tonight but that hasn’t stopped Ottawa newest club, O’Connor’s, from opening!

O’Connor’s has been functioning as a daycare normally, and even got a visit from the police yesterday to offer the parents help from child services. #cdnpoli #ottnews

I know it’s only Thursday but let’s check-in on Ottawa’s nightlife.

Ottawa’s second hottest club, Wellington St, is closed tonight for renos.

They’ve added a VIP deck with a Hill view, and have stockpiled Ottawa’s hottest accessory, jerry cans #cdnpoli #ottnews

Ottawa’s hottest club, Rideau and Sussex, is also closed tonight but some changes will need to be made before the party starts tomorrow night.

Truckers started parking like a jigsaw puzzle at that intersection today, presumably to make it hard to get towed #cdnpoli #ottnews

With no clubs open tonight, folks had nothing to do but wander the streets.

This guy with a megaphone outside the Chateau Laurier was telling folks, “Delete your vax pass, get a free joint” #cdnpoli #ottnews
