Hearing horror stories about corruption in #SEBI. Someone set to become Wholetime member was sidelined ONLY after a pendrive with audio of bribe negotiations was sent to chairperson. A letter of displeasure was served on his last day & top management stayed away from farewell!
Does @FinMinIndia and secretaries on SEBI board know of this? Or other regulators? @RBI DG? @DFS_India ? @nsitharaman ? What about opposition leaders? Standing committee on finance?

An insider tells me: certain lead managers write a letter seeking exemption from disclosure rules. sebi grants exemption on a case to case basis without informing investors since no disclosure in IPO. How are deals fixed?

On tolls - the government fools all the people all the time with such ease. Toll charge continues even after cost of the road is recovered. At the very least the contract and escalation should end. Since traffic is increasing- there should be new bids. Nothing happens #TollJhol
And yes very good activists and lawyers have taken the matter to court. But typically we go tareek pe tareek for a decade. There is no justice for ordinary people! #sanjayshirodkar #PravinWategaonkar #VivekVelankar have been fighting OUR battle. How many know it? 🙏🫡

As I am concentrating on a deadline I get this call from my bank in one smooth flow: "Given your relationship with us we are issuing you a card that will give you access to priority lounges at airports and much more. it is life time free, i only need to confirm your address". 1/n
Me: say it again. Bank person: ... 'grrrr...gup...need to confirm your address". Me: Hold on. you are hawking a credit card, aren't you? Why aren't you saying that up front? (REMEMBER CONFIRMING ADDRESS WILL BE RECORDED AS ACCEPTANCE OF THE CARD). 2/N
He agrees it is a credit card -- this is how most people are landing up with a credit card they did not want. When it actually comes, i will know whether it is lifetime free. If i reject it, they will show a recording that i even confirmed my address 3/n

This is a reason why we need verification of EVERY TWITTER ID. This was an email that I marked to all editors because the guy SENT threatening mails demanding info on whether we had ME TOO ISSUES IN OUR OFFICE. For heaven's sake Vinod Dua never worked with us.
The govt talks about FALSE info, hwo is this kind of rubbish being published without the slightest shred of evidence with emails out of context? If one were to sue everybody who did this, we would do nothing else in life and it would be the road to financial ruin!
