2.15: Time to productize the consulting service idea and turn it into a landing page

Whenever I keep working on landing pages I keep coming back to this timeless piece of advice by @julia_saxena

The current front runner for page headline
Ok, v1.0 of the consulting offering page is live.

Please pick it apart 🙏

What's missing?
What do you like?
What do you hate?

received killer feedback from @hammer_mt

Next up:
Split /consulting page into 3 sub-pages

🏝 /remote-consulting
🎙 /marketing-consulting
🏗 /nocode-consulting

It's de-facto a hub with three sub-hubs

Then fill it up with blog posts (spokes) pointing to the pages.

In 2022 I'll ship faster.

The goal is to do 12 projects in 12 months.

The type of projects I plan to tackle:
🤕 Solving my own pain points
🏝 Solving problems for remote-first orgs
🎶 Creative Exploration

In 2021 I focused on online course creation.

First starting with #ODCC1 (h/t @Bazzaruto) and then creating an email-based course (EBC) w/ help from @BigWillieStein

The initial goal was to clear $1k/mo ... instead, I'm approaching €1k/yr

Not quite there but right direction Image
The goal for 2022 is to tighten my own learning loop.

How? Ship a new project every month.

Inspo:
@levelsio - getting the ball rolling
@jonyongfook - adding fun component to the mix
@jakobgreenfeld - adding own spin

Their output is amazing.

My own spin: Studio Approach

I'm a simple man.

When @packyM writes, I read.

This week he dropped a killer piece about story building and narrative formation 📓

I'm researching this area myself through the lens of remote team leadership 🏝

Below are my takeaways and commentary 👇
"Stories let us coordinate across time and space."

IF people are vectors THEN stories are its compass:
1) ⛳️ Direction = Where to?
2) 🚀 Magnitude = How to?

A similar principle is used in remote team leadership 👇

Helpful language when thinking about story telling:

📕 Story = A stand-alone story/idea
📚 Narrative = The greater whole comprised of many stories

In the context of remote teams:
🦜 Stories = Codes (rules; goals; etc)
🏴‍☠️ Narrative = Culture (language; habits; identification)
