Alleged law handles and @PTI_News are (deliberately?) misreporting UP Govt withdrawing 2019 notices to #CAA vandals for damaging public property.
SC has said damages must be recovered from CAA vandals, but under 2020 law.

UP will now reframe notices under its 2020 law and serve them again on #CAA vandals and quantum etc will be determined by tribunal to be set up under 2020 law.
All those gloating and celebrating that SC has blocked punishments for #CAA vandals, please don’t order biriyani yet.

35 @YouTube channels and 2 websites blocked by Ministry of Information & Broadcasting for spreading anti-India fake news.
Crackdown will continue. No place for fake news aimed at harming India.

The 35 @YouTube channels and 2 websites banned by #India were involved in spreading anti-India #FakeNews in a coordinated manner over digital media. The now blocked YouTube accounts had a total subscriber base of over 1.2 crore, and their videos had over 130 crore views.

Along with the 35 @YoutTube channels and 2 websites, Government of #India has also blocked two @Twitter accounts, two @instagram accounts, and one @Meta / Facebook account for being involved in spreading coordinated anti-India disinformation.

The canopy at India Gate housed a statue of King George V. it was installed in 1938 to honour India’s ‘King Emperor’.

In 1968 the statue of King George V was removed from the canopy at India Gate and installed at Coronation Park. Since then the canopy has remained empty. It was to be replaced by the statue of a national hero. Like Vienna Congress, there were deliberations, but no conclusion.

PM @narendramodi has taken the empty anti-colonial rhetoric of 7 decades to a splendid conclusion: The India Gate canopy will now house a grand granite statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, honouring the great national hero on his 125th birth anniversary.

A lot of ill-informed, media-driven misinformation is circulating regarding the flame of the 'Amar Jawan Jyoti'.
The flame of the 'Amar Jawan Jyoti' is NOT being extinguished. It is being MERGED with the eternal flame which honours fallen soldiers at National War Memorial.

The flame at India Gate paid homage to martyrs of 1971 and other wars but none of their names is inscribed there.
Names inscribed on India Gate are of only some martyrs who fought for the British in World War I and Anglo Afghan War. It was a symbol of India's colonial past.

The names of all Indian martyrs from all the wars, including 1971 and wars before and after, are housed at the National War Memorial. Hence it would be a true shraddhanjali to have the flame paying tribute to our fallen soldiers there.

An Indian politician travels abroad frequently. His destination, itinerary, meetings, expenses are kept a closely guarded secret.
The same politician’s venal stooges merrily disclose the top secret security and travel details of the PM of #India , compromising PM’s security.

Nation must be told details about this Opposition politician’s foreign travels, especially his meetings and foreign expenses.
The breach in PM of #India’s security coincides with one such secret foreign visit.
PM’s security is a national issue. People have the right to know.

Per law, this Opposition politician, elected MP, is a ‘public servant’. He cannot hide behind ‘privacy’, not when one of his undisclosed foreign visits coincides with a hideous breach in the security of the PM. There is enough evidence his party was complicit in this breach.

On 5 Jan 2022 morning PM @narendramodi landed at Bathinda from where he was to go to the National Martyrs Memorial at Hussainiwala by helicopter. Due to rain and poor visibility, the Prime Minister waited for about 20 minutes for the weather to clear out.
PM Security Lapse 1
Due to bad weather, it was decided that PM @narendramodi would visit National Marytrs Memorial via road, which would take more than two hours. He proceeded to travel by road after confirmation of necessary security arrangements by DGP Punjab Police.
PM Security Lapse 2
30 km away from National Martyrs Memorial in Hussainiwala, when PM @narendramodi ’s convoy reached a flyover, it was found that the road was blocked by some protestors.
PM was stuck on the flyover for 15-20 minutes. This was a major lapse in PM's security.
