Kadu Malleshwara Mandir. In 1997, construction began on an empty land diagonally opp. to Kadu Malleshwara Mandir, during evacuation of a mound for construction the workers discovered the spire of a Mandir. They dug deeper & found there was a large Mandir.
ASI team then completed the excavation & found a perfectly preserved central pool of water surrounded by granite steps & pillared mantapas. The Mandir houses a Shivling continuously abhishekam with water dripping from the mouth of a Nandi moorthy.
When ASI cleaned the mouth of Nandi, they found a small stream of water started pouring out continuously. And when the land was cleared at the bottom, they discovered the water abhishekam done for Shivalinga & joined the pond in the middle of the Mandir complex.

How our Ancient Indians use to calculate space according to Srimad Bhagawatham. #Thread
Lets start from India: India is a part of South Asia; Asia is one of the continent in the world;
This world is nothing but Earth. The whole Earth is known as Bhooh.
In Bhooh we have seven Dweepams known as Jambu, Plaksha, Shalmali, Kusha, Kraunca, Shaka, Pushkara Dweepams respectively. India is in Jambudweepam.
Above Bhooh there are seven layers/lokas named as Bhuvah, Suvah, Mahah, Janah, Tapah, Satyam
Similarly, Below Earth there are
another seven layers/Lokas called as Atala, Vitala, Sutala, Rasathala, ThalaaThala, Mahathala, Pathala.
seven lokas above & seven Lokas below Earth respectively. So we call (Eer Yezhu Lokam in Tamil) means 7X2=14 Lokas
All these 14 lokas including Earth looks like an egg.
