NATO is an open door organization, Putin demanding that Ukraine should never be allowed is inherently anti democratic. Now it's true that NATO is flawed, especially because of all the lies that led to the war in Afghanistan but that issue is completely seperate.
From yesterday's hour long speech you can see Putin's unhinged behavior, he wants to claim a sovereign country as his own because of historical borders
This is not an issue that is manufactured to distract you from something else and here is why; NATO will never be a part of this conflict because NATO vs Russia is risking world war 3. You can see it in Biden's rhetoric, he continued begging for talks and diplomacy.
The aggression comes from one side only and it's Russia with close to 200,000 troops on the Ukrainian border, and more recently in separatist areas of Ukraine.
The OSINT community has been tracking Russian aggression through satellite images, flight tracking and social media video's, it's very clear what Putin was trying, it's not just a narrative that the west has spun.
