Here’s a first look at a gaming project that will into the @LootRealms ecosystem.
@0xobservatorium is a team of devs with experience building and operating worlds inside voxel game engines. 1/
2/ For their second community call - ‘bonfire’ - they held the call inside a voxel lava world.
Their intention is to create Realms in this game engine, as another way Lords and Ladies can interact with their Realm. The demo was rough and ready but next time…
3/ … they are deploying a proof of concept for the community to interact with.
Here are some naked characters with crowns flying about larva landed - in god mode:
Speaking of gods; the Genesis NFTs of the projects are ‘Astral Animas’; who will be god like energies influencing in-game worlds and characters. As NFTs they are super clean spectral masses
This description from their site is super enigmatic. Given how much I have been enjoying the @lootproject lore develop in such a detailed way recently, the contrast with this esoteric project is a compelling addition, loosely in the same universe (at the moment, at least!).
Like @cryptsncaverns the NFTs are intended to have utility in other projects, like Realms, and will be staked for rewards. Think ‘creator to creator’ - assets and modules created to be used in other places
Further overlap with the @BibliothecaDAO team behind Realms:
👷♂️One full stack dev is across both projects.
⚡️Realms holders got a discounted mint of the Astral Anima ‘godhead’ NFTS.
🏪 The NFTs will be available on the Realms NFT marketplace, denominated in Lords token
It’s another engineer led, low hype, stealth build #zkRollup game. It’s very early stage but the team are experienced in voxel game engines and running gaming servers. It is not a Realms extension, but it does integrate. I will keep attending the bonfires 🔥 to see what unfolds
Ps I LOVE the clean, elegant style of their website and NFTs. Clearly some top end 2D and 3D design talent in the team. Always a major boost to have that talent engaged in the core team.
GOD DAMN MISSED A WORD IN THE FIRST SENTENCE OF THE FIRST DAMN TWEET
* Here’s a first look at a gaming project that will INTEGRATE IN SOME FASHION into the @LootRealms ecosystem
Soz, brain has bits missing.
I also forgot to do the numbering after number 3. 🧠 💀
I blame the @GenesisLoot project indirectly, as most of my cerebral capacity has wandered off to the Lootverse to try and resurrect the most badass Genesis Adventurers possible. It’s a problem.

The flow of exciting news about the upcoming Realms resource, building and raiding game continues… @lordOfAFew shared a hint of what lies inland of the coast based Realms. It’s been a subject of much discussion, but has remained a mystery…
2/ Until now! From this sneak peek we can see the @lootproject expanding with Labyrinths, Temples, Keeps and Tombs.
I suspect this is where we see @cryptsncaverns start to play it’s role (just speculating here, @threepwave!).
Dungeon crawling for rare loot, anyone? 🧙🗡🏰⚱️💰
3/ @LootRealms is a game in itself - think web3 twist on Civilisation in browser - but also a base layer of land & resources for the economy of the broader and expanding Loot metaverse. The $Lords token is the enabler for development and to access resources for crafting etc
You have probably heard of Gartner's hype cycle. It's a model that applies to most new technologies. Here I apply it to the @lootproject
Loot was subject of impossible hype 6 months ago. Something new and innovative had emerged, people wanted it to deliver immediately.
2/ An entirely new model of community-driven world building, story-telling and gaming emerged, and people gathered. Excitement about possibility was mixed with economic opportunity. Everyone hoped for Loot to succeed overnight and kinda lost their minds. It happens ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
3/ Copycats, bad actors, haplessly naive developers all fuelled the hype, and the project burned many people financially and emotionally. People assumed Loot was dead. 💀
Look back at the diagram - Loot was in the Trough of Disillusionment (it sounds like a Loot bag item!)
OG lootbags have items wrapped in with them that can be distilled out, once per item. Might be a weapon or a piece of armour or magical attire. They are called ‘mana’.
If you collect together 8 pieces of mana you can ‘resurrect’ a legendary ‘Genesis Adventurer’.
I.e. Build your own badass from 8x Loot shaped Lego bricks.
There are 3 archetypes in the Lootverse contracts - Mage, Hunter & Warrior. You can create a hybrid or you can have an idea in mind and collect the mana to build that. Pimp Wizard was my aim,so my warlock wears silk.
A few have caught on to the ambition and endeavour of @LootRealms. Realms is establishing a land and resource economy for the #Lootverse, casually pioneering on #Starknet#ZKRollups in parallel.
Which other projects are building out the @lootproject metaverse atm?
🗡🧙👑🧵/1
@divine_dao building out the lore. @ConwayAnderson, omnipresent @TimshelXYZ & others are extracting history from the OG loot contract code. If Loot does achieve its hoooj potential as a community-driven and owned fantasy entertainment universe, this effort will be exalted /2
The @GenesisLoot is best known for the Genesis Adventurers being built out of ‘mana’ distilled from Loot bags. A @dhof easter egg amplified into a stand alone character building quest by @TimshelXYZ. These legendary characters will be usable across the Lootverse. /3
