🧵

1/

I am going to try to get this point across again with the hope that it will make an impact but with the expectation that it won’t gain traction the way dumb troll lines against Trump get engagements.

But here is a data-based policy thread:
2/ If you look in the Media column of my Twitter account, you will see data from states’ websites that large portions of COVID deaths the last 6-7 weeks are among the vaccinated. It ranges from 23.9% in Michigan, to 50.2% in Massachusetts and 53.6% in Vermont.
3/ When shown these government-sourced numbers, vaccine fanatics say “well, most of the population is vaccinated so these numbers are still better than among the unvaccinated.”

Cool point; one which I do not dispute but this misses a big problem that is going on NOW:
4/ Since the start of January of this year, there were more than 115,000 COVID-related deaths in the US.

If the vaccinated portion of those deaths are at the same rates as in MI to VT, it’s 27,485 to 61,640 VACCINATED COVID deaths over the last 7 weeks!

Hello?

🚨 🚨 🚨
5/ Losing 27,485 to 61,640 VACCINATED people to COVID in 7 weeks is a DISASTER no matter how many times less likely those deaths are compared to the unvaccinated!

It’s 560 to 1,257 COVID deaths a day which is worse than many COVID days pre-vaccines.

How can we mitigate it?
6/ Science-denying vaccine fanatics in big tech, media and gov have shut down an added focus on healthy living/better immune despite the fact that most COVID dead had multiple comorbidities and that pre-COVID such a focus was normal.

Fauci in 2019🔻

7/ The singular focus on vaccines as THE fix against COVID deaths is so strong that of 280 tweets sent by the US CDC in Dec 2021, NOT ONE said anything about healthy living or about early care once infected. It was mask/jabs and jabs/masks. Oh, a tweet or two to stay home.
8/ Vaccines as a product are good (our household gives all mandated vaccines/boosters which in NY is TWENTY THREE shots before the ate of 12!), but vaccine fanaticism as seen the last 12 months is DEADLY! You get mocked if you push healthy living/early care.

#GetBoosted
9/ The unvaccinated (without prior infection) being more likely to die than recently vaccinated, doesn’t help the vaccinated who die especially when they account for half of recent deaths in some places and they have almost more deaths than unvaccinated deaths a few months back.
10/ Therefore, it is important for medical names, media and government officials to push for healthy living; early care and better hopsital access, but some of them are such vaccine fanatics that my first few tweets if this thread went right over their head.
11/ They repeat their point that the vaccinated are better than the unvaccinated.

Cool. I am not arguing against it! I am arguing that since HALF of recent covid deaths in some states are vaccinated (25K to 61K deaths nationwide in a mere 7 weeks), we need other tools too.
12/ Please explain what these vaccine fanatics don’t get with my point, and why they REFUSE to join the focus on other tools while they push the vaccine.

Like for real. Why does it bother them to also focus on more tools? Why do they want so many vaccinated people to die?

110,000.

That’s how many COVID-related deaths the US had from the start of Jan through data released yesterday Feb 18.

2,244 deaths a day.

1,405 was Trump’s average.

You don’t know/feel this from media coverage or from Dem Governor policies because a Democrat is in the WH.
1,321 is the average daily COVID deaths under Biden.

1,405 is Trump’s average.

Biden’s number is a drop of only 6% from Trump which included panicked months of the virus being new while most of Biden’s months had vaccinations.

When will Fauci be fired?
In January of this year, NYC had 32.1% more COVID deaths than last year January without vaccine passes back then, while FL was 33.5% lower this Jan compared to last year January.

@GOPLeader When @DevinNunes was onto this hoax in 2017, @SpeakerRyan benched him. Imagine if @HouseGOP had Devin’s back and if their two Russia investigations focused more on this. 2018, 2020 and Trump’s legislative agenda may have all been different!

Idiots are Republicans!
@GOPLeader @DevinNunes @SpeakerRyan @HouseGOP These revelations are many years too late and of less relevance.

The course of history was changed because your @HouseGOP choked the one member who saw it all early on. Then you clowns kept saying “let Mueller finish his job,” when his existence delayed accountability for ‘16!
@GOPLeader @DevinNunes @SpeakerRyan @HouseGOP I don’t need faux GOP outrage years late and when it matters less.

Republicans did the same with COVID rules: You coward in the corners 12-18 months ago when your voices would have mattered and when data was readily available. Now when Dems/some media change, you speak up too.

Haven’t seen such a gaslighting pretzel-twisting in all of COVID coverage. CDC removed the word immunity from the definition of vaccination and we are told that they didn’t do it why everyone sane knows they did it. Read this gaslighting “fact check.”
The C19 vaccines were sold as a dead-end to spread. But now that boosted people can also die of COVID, the CDC simply removed the word “immunity” from the vaccine definition since - they claim - no vaccine is 100% effective. So why wasn’t this change made 20 years ago?
There is a diff between “no vaccine is 100% effective” as the CDC mentions now, to huge portions of COVID-19 deaths being among the vaccinated. CDC knows that the C19 vaccines deliver less results than other vaccines but refuse to admit it outright while indirectly admitting it!

1/ Your vaccine fanatic friend is too stupid to understand this thread, and your authoritarian government official is too power hungry to want the masses to understand it, which is why they both yell “vaccine disinformation.” It’s easier than to debate on merit, but please focus.
2/ California posted a chart that in late Dec 2021 into Jan 2022, “unvaccinated people were 16.9 times more likely to die from COVID-19 than full vaccinated people.”

The math you can see in the bottom: 6.5 is 16 times more than 0.4.

Please take a moment to observe the chart. Image
3/ On a similar basis, NYC shows you that recent deaths among the unvaccinated is around 30 times higher than among the vaccinated. 37.4 deaths vs 1.2 is multiple times higher.

Here again, please observe the attachments before reading the next tweets. ImageImage

The “misinformation” on @joerogan’s show is largely government-sourced data and debates/discussions around it.

It’s journalism (data) combined with punditry (conversation), but the panicked masses are doing the work for those with a vested interest in one COVID outcome.
The more you try to move the needle on this all, the more you see that those with a vested interest in a certain outcome backed by a pancaked masses, are not interested in journalism, fairness or in your healg. They want their money, power and want you crushed. Simple.
Dems cheered on Mueller, Manhattan DA and the NY AG as they went after Trump in ways never done to any POTUS for such garbage. Same attitude is also to Jan 6th.

You think Social Media companies who rake in money from big companies, care to be seen as impartial? For whom/what?
