Russia has definitely taken the “ends justify the means” slogan to heart.

The public needs to realize when the enemy is willing to take it this far, they’re capable of anything.

Now apply that same understanding to our current situation in Canada and North America.

As we witness conservative loyalists in the Canadian Senate attempt to create an alternate reality where the occupation of Ottawa was just a long block party and peaceful demonstration.

Pay careful attention to the underlying and unspoken beliefs included in their narratives.

The most egregious being the assertion that a small minority of white supremacists, Q’Anon members and deluded Dominionist Christians have the right & freedom to demand policy changes.

The unspoken expectation that their demands should be the guiding factor in policy for all Canadians.

The assumption is that the legitimate authority (elected government) doesn’t have the right or freedom to create policy for which this group of miscreants doesn’t approve.

The original MOU that was delivered demanding the government reverse all mandates or be removed from power is still in play.

Conservative Senators and the conservative MPs before them are using this premise as the foundation of their arguments.

Why no one is calling this out is outrageous.

Our democracy has clear processes for objecting to policy choices. Overthrowing the duly elected govt and negating the will of the electorate who elected them, is not one of those processes.

Conservatives are attempting to justify sedition by extremist groups who refuse to recognize the results of the most recent election.

Which, by comparison is no different than Trump demanding “Stop the Steal.”

Except Canada doesn’t have federal sham elections.

Elections Canada uses paper hand marked ballots, counted by hand. Our federal electoral system is world renowned for its security. So stop the steal isn’t possible in Canada.

Cons are forced to convince enough people that sedition is an acceptable expression of angst.

Sedition is a crime in Canada, as it is in any democracy.

Protests are legal. But this was NEVER a protest.

It started with the MOU declaring the demands of the entrenched truck convoy who had arrived January 28, 2022.

At no time was the convoy an innocent peaceful protest.

The public MUST acknowledge and comprehend the inherent illegitimate and illegal threat aimed at the legitimate federal government for exercising its legal & constitutional right to decide national policy, including border policy.

The federal govt is not required to ask for permission to exercise its purview. They received that permission when they were elected.

As a minority govt another party must also support their decision for it to pass. Ensuring support from a majority of Canadians.

The govt is not required to legitimize, validate or acknowledge the disinformation and pseudoscience believed by the mob of fringe groups who occupied Ottawa with the intent of overthrowing the govt.

There is only ONE reality. Not plural realities.

Canadian Conservatives are attempting to create an alternate reality and force, coerce and manipulate the rest of Canadians to legitimize, validate and support their subjective experience of truth, reality and existence.

They use weasel words while Putin is using corpses.

It’s the same attempt to gaslight, confuse and discombobulate the intended target of their disinformation campaign.

While we all recognize Putin and Russia as a threat and illegitimate authoritarian power, do we recognize the same within our political system?

We have conservative MPs, MLAs, senators and pundits working diligently to confuse the public and validate a subjective reality that 3 delusional groups of people rely on to assert their illegitimate authority to remove a government that was elected by the Canadian electorate.

There is a threat coming from aligned social groups who want to overthrow the federal government and seize power for themselves. A delusional fantasy promoted by nationalists and racist goons.

But the bigger threat to Canadian democracy is coming from the HOC and Senate.

A threat where elected and appointed conservative government officials are collaborating to undermine actual reality and introduce alternate possibilities and subjective beliefs about the legitimacy of our political system and how decisions are made.

We have a constitution and laws that determine who gets to make decisions and under which circumstances. Conservatives are undermining democracy by attempting to legitimize illegitimate power using manipulative gaslighting techniques.

That’s the threat to Canadian democracy.

It’s the fifth column, well funded by domestic and foreign donors attempting to remove the legitimacy of our constitution by supporting a bunch of thugs and deluded citizens shouting “freedom” and “liberty” when they actually mean ANARCHY.

The far right has used paleolibertarianism to convince millions of unknowledgeable and ignorant vulnerable souls that ANARCHY is the only acceptable freedom they should demand.

We have treachery in the HOC and Senate. People who want our democracy to collapse in on itself.

Canadians MUST recognize and condemn the efforts of pure charlatans masquerading as conservative politicians who pretend to champion rule of law, freedom and equality of every citizen for the wealthy seditionists who pay millions to remove Canadian’s freedom and liberty.

This isn’t a theory. The hack of GiveSendGo has provided every Canadian citizen verification of who is funding this chaos.

Domestic and foreign enemies of Canadian democracy.

While I was writing, PMJT revoked the Emergencies Act. So debating it is moot.

But the threat to our national security, our beliefs and values as a nation, our rights and freedoms codified in our Charter which is part of our constitution is not over.

It won’t be over until we remove the fifth columns from our institutions and our parliament.

There are millions of delusional disinformed people who support ANARCHY as the only acceptable freedom. Just in Canada. Tens of millions in the US.

The size of this issue is overwhelming. But we are the majority. Canadians with a tight grip on reality are still the majority.

It’s up to us to support democracy and the government we elected.

We MUST condemn the gaslighting the fifth column treacherous cons use at every opportunity.
