#UkraineRussiaCrisis

Ukraine: Excellent. The West has been asking for this since thirty years, and Ukraine ever since Obama, Biden and Hilary put their fascist stooges in power there through regime change.
After the collapse of the Soviet Union, in 1992, Madeline Lewinsky Clinton began to demonize Russia and put Russia under siege while infringing into its space.
He did this because the US needs Russia as a bogey man to (1) give NATo a sense of purpose and keep it together to make the US look much bigger and more powerful than it is, (2) Keep the US-NATO military Industrial complex ticking over and (3) to keep the US pulp fiction hate…
…machine of US intelligence, Hollywood, media and novelist well honed.
Russia was in no position (powerless) to oppose the US and the people of Russia replaced Yeltsin with Putin to make them strong after Clinton began the rampage of Unipolar, Unilateral, US Exceptionalism with Yugoslavia where he bombed Belgrade for 84 days to provide strategic…
…air support for Taliban invading from as far away as Pakistan.
This yielded Bosnia and Kosovo to US allies, Sunni Islam, and in exchange the Oily Sunni Arabs paid for the ammunition Clinton expended in Yugoslavia and also purchased weapons to use against the Shia province that produces most of Saudi oil and Yemen in crimes against humanity…
…reflective of big brother US.This wrote off the US deficit.
Finally, after inventing “WMD” to invade Iraq which was a more profitable and juicy target for the ruling ghouls of the US, the Obama Biden and Hilary regime invaded Syria after fabricating the story that Al Assad used Chemical weapons to extend their war crimes and crimes…
…against humanity further. This was designed to take Russia’s Naval and Air bases in Syria and forced Russia to Intervene to save them.
Russia is extremely paranoid about US-NATO intentions as, after Clinton shredded the Reagan-Gorbachev deals to expand NATO eastward by not only taking Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania, the US has been active in architecting “Regime Changes” in Georgia and thereafter, the Obama,…
…Biden, Hilary regime attacked Ukraine.
While Crimea is solidly with Russia as a referendum clearly demonstrate, Eastern Ukraine has rejected Fascist Proxy US rule robustly and this has led to a civil war with the East wanting to join the Crimea as part of Russia and which has been on going for nearly a decade.
Donblas and Luhansk are not willing to be ruled by US fascist proxies.
The US and NATO being Imperial aggressors by inherent nature with generations of crimes against humanity behind them and having backed generations of Military and Islamic dictators around the world to profit their ruling ghouls are not willing to recognize the Crimea referendum…
…nor the rebellion in Donblas and Luhansk because this defeats the purpose of the US regime change in Ukraine which was to take over the Russian Naval Base in Crimea and the military industrial complex in Eastern Ukraine to cut off Russia’s defense capabilities.
Because NATO Europe was reluctant to sanction Russia, Obama, Biden and Hilary even got their Ukrainian fascist stooges to bring down MH-17 in a classic US “false flag” maneuver (such as Gulf of Tonkin : Vietnam, Iraq’s WMD, Syria’s Chemical Weapons etc etc) to catalyze EU…
…sanctions against Russia.
Putin having calculated the situation and having measured Russia’s capabilities that have been built up over the last thirty years calculated that it was time to ask the US to withdraw from Russian space and withhold NATO’s expansion into Historically Russian territories.
So he requested a treaty whereby US and NATO would agree to non aggression. The US and NATO flatly refused signalling their intention to continue their war on Russia. “This is why Putin described Ukraine as a red line”
Finally, the Russian Parliament passed a bill demanding that Putin recognize Donblas and Luhansk as Independent States and send in Russian troops to protect them.
Russia, though, might be compelled to take more of Eastern Ukraine without which defending Crimea, Donblas and Luhansk may become very difficult and expensive.
Russia really has no choice as the US and NATO have steadily pushed Russia into a corner with incessant aggression for thirty years.
Lord Palmerston's observation, "The policy and practice of the Russian government has always been to push forward its encroachments as fast and as far as the apathy or want of firmness of other governments would allow it to go, but always to stop and retire when it met with…
…decided resistance and then to wait for the next favorable opportunity". was, an attempt to cut a cloak from British Imperial Policy for Russia to wear.
In recent times, the Palmerston policy is far more visible in the manner in which the US-NATO-Sunni Axis operating out of the White House and the Tent of Saud since it was forged with Petro Dollars by Nixon, Yamani and Kissinger has operated. Or, US protégé, Communist China.
Consider Lewinsky Clinton's "Eastward Ho!" push for NATO taking advantage of the Uni-Polar World to throw the Reagan-Gorbachev deals into the void and the bombing of Belgrade for 84 days to render Croatia to the Vatican and Bosnia and Kosovo to the Caliphate.
Or, the series of regime change exercises beginning with the Junior Bush Bandit's war crimes in Iraq to create chaos where Sunni Islam may flourish once more.
And the extensive follow through by the Obama-Hilary regime with the Arab Spring and Regime Change in Libya and the failed attempt in Syria.
Which takes us to a hinge of this survey, the Obama-Hilary Regime Change in Ukraine that was followed through with the false flag MH-17 to unite and resurrect a luke warm NATO against Russia.
In the shadow, all the while, most visible in US protege Pakistan which is a permanent member of both the US-NATO-Sunni Axis and the China-North Korea-Pakistan Axis, is its push into India with Jeehad gaining ground everywhere.
The Palmerston policy is applicable to all Empires.
It may be aimed and fired, like any gun, by anybody. Who it is aimed at depends on who owns and operates Public Opinion. For now, it is the US-NATO-Sunni Axis that does so.

PUTIN'S OPTIONS NOW?
With NATO forward troops activated and Russian forces getting closer to NATO borders in the European heartland like Poland and Romania, at what will stage could that lead to pre-emptive defensive moves?
Putin wants a non-aligned Ukraine as a buffer, but occupying all of Ukraine takes that out. Does it serve Russia better to occupy and integrate just the ethnic Russian majority areas and leave the rest of Ukraine as a neutralised buffer?
A long occupation of Ukraine will lead to a guerilla war that will inevitably entail support from across the NATO borders. Putin has to make quick decisions and not get bogged down in Ukraine.

PUTIN’S CHESS. CLEARLY HE IS NO GRANDMASTER!
Russia might have good reason for it or even just cause. In this Oped piece in The Hindu Rakesh Sood, a former diplomat and a well regarded one at that, analyses what led to the present situation.
He lays the cards out neatly. But could Putin have handled it better? He didn’t state his objective and grievance clearly and loudly enough. This he made it appear like a bolt out of the blue attack.
Could there have been another way of forcing NATO to halt, and to tell the West that it’s unilateral days and ways are over? No more Iraq or Libya or Syria.

THE GREAT INDIAN CHESS HOPE!
Sixteen year old Praggnanandhaa is one of India’s fastest rising chess grandmasters, a country that has no grandmasters till Vishwanathan Anand became its first grandmaster in January 1988.
Since then 72 others have grasped this honor. Pragg belongs to a generation of young Indians who embody the country's growing influence in chess, a sport that has its origins in a two-player Indian board game from the sixth century.
It's no mean feat in a country of 1.3 billion people feverishly obsessed with cricket.

The educational value of the game is why many Indian parents are encouraging their children to play the game.

RUSSIANS MIGHT BE POOR COMPARED TO EUROPEANS, BUT RUSSIA IS RICH.
Russia’s GDP is smaller than India’s . It’s military budget too.
But it is a very rich country with cash, natural resources, mineral wealth and scientific and technologically advanced capabilities.
Russia’s central bank and private sector have almost $1 trillion of liquid wealth, with a much larger share of this held in U.S. dollars than most people realize, even after the country sold all its Treasuries holdings in 2018, Pozsar wrote.

WHERE NEXT RUSSIA?’
Today, Putin seeks at the very least a two-tier NATO, in which no allied forces are deployed on former Warsaw Pact territory.
The inevitable negotiations over this and other elements of a new European security “architecture” would be conducted with Russian forces poised all along NATO’s eastern borders and therefore amid real uncertainty about NATO’s ability to resist Putin’s demands.
This takes place, moreover, as China threatens to upend the strategic balance in East Asia, perhaps with an attack of some kind against Taiwan.

John Mearsheimer, a professor of international relations and security at the University of Chicago has for years been cautioning American diplomats to stop pressing for Ukraine in NATO.
He argued that it would be akin to Russia setting up military bases in Canada. Would the USA accept it? We saw how the USA was ready to go to war when the Russians placed missiles in Cuba in 1962.
The mistake the West made was to assume that after the collapse of the Soviet Union, Russia had no great power security concerns. Big mistake!
