The war in #Ukraine continues...

My hometown is under attack for 2 days now.

My friends had to sleep in cold bombshelters together with their families and small children.

People are shocked & terrified.

Many are dead, many more are wounded.

WE NEED TO STOP THIS!
When I started tweeting about the war in Ukraine, I thought most people would ignore me.

But I got TONS of support from you folks!

HUGE THANKS for helping me spread the information about the war in our community of digital marketers. 🙏

But the war is NOT OVER!

F-ing Putin is still attacking my home country!

Likes and retweets do help, but they are not enogh.

I'm BEGGING you to put more pressure on your government officials!

Start tagging your polititians in conversations about Ukraine and demand a reaction!
If there are any online petitions in your country - please sign them.

If there's a protest - please join it.

And PLEASE!..

PLEASE don't go about your Twitter posting as usual!

I know the war is far away from you, but Tweeting about your happy busy life is very insensitive.
What if it was YOUR country?

What if those were YOUR parents and friends hiding in bombshelters?

What if those were YOUR people dying in thousands?

I know this can be stopped.

But only if we unite and everyone contributes a little bit of their help.
One might argue that there are many wars and tragedies in the world and life has to continue.

Well..

Ukrainian tragedy JUST BROKE OUT!

And there's still a good chance to STOP IT!

I'm sure it's not that big of a sacrifice to backlog your tweets in a Google doc for a few days.
Even the Elon freaking Musk is providing REAL HELP to Ukraine!!

So PLEASE!..

Please carve out a bit of time in your busy schedules and research what you can do to help Ukraine survive this.

I know our community is incredibly empathetic and caring.

And I'm begging you folks to help us. 🙏
PS: sorry if that sounded agressive or pushy, but I can barely contain my emotions 😣
PPS: many people were asking me for ways to donate.

New day, new thread with updates about Russian military invasion in Ukraine.

Today would be the 5th day of the war.

There are tons of news on Twitter already, but I feel compelled to share the most notable updates that I'm seeing in Ukrainian news outlets.

#UkraineUnderAttack
Today Ukrainian delegation will be having negotiations with the Russians.

They'll meet at Belarussian border. (Russians are already there waiting, Ukrainians are on the way.)

Somehow I'm pretty sure that Russians will have some utterly ridiculous demands.

But we'll see...
One of the officials in Ukrainian delegation is Davyd Arakhamia, who I happen to know personally.

(He co-founded TemplateMonster, where I used to work at some point.)

The guy is super smart and I have zero doubts in his negotiation skills. 💪

Wish them luck. 🙏 Image

This is my second thread about the Russian military agression against Ukraine.

The first one got too long, so I'll just start a new one every day.

Please help spread the word & tag your country's politicians to pressure them to do something meaningful. 🙏

I'm going to post all further updates about #RussiaUkraineWar in this thread.
These children are now hiding in Kyiv subway because of regular air attacks in the city.

I can't even imagine what their parents feel right now.
And here is Kyiv itself.

Long-tail keywords 🔑

Did you know there are two types of them?

1. Topical long-tail keywords
2. Supporting long-tail keywords

...and targeting the wrong type will likely lead to a waste of resources.

[more in the thread]
First, let's address the common mistake in the definition of "long-tails."

Long-tail keywords are NOT defined by their length in words, their specificity or propensity to convert.

They got their name from their position on the so-called "search demand curve:"
Long-tail keywords are those that have very low search volumes.

...whether they have 1 word in them or 5.

Yes, MOST 1-word keywords have high search volumes
& MOST 5+ word keywords have low SV.

But not all (see the attached pic)
