Truly remarkable footage on CNN earlier this morning -- @mchancecnn was on the frontlines in Kyiv with debris everywhere, burned out trucks and armored vehicles completely destroyed -- and still smoking -- with at least one Russian body nearby.
God bless the Ukrainian military.
.@mchancecnn on @NewDay: "There were some terrible things we can't really show you on camera in terms of dead bodies, Russians still lying here on the ground...Ukrainian soldiers who I've been speaking to...are absolutely enthused by this victory."
.@JohnBerman to @mchancecnn in Kyiv: "These are remarkable pictures. Be careful. I am going to try to keep talking to you. We have a sketchy connection here. But these are really remarkable images and reporting....to still see the smoke rising from the wreckage..."
Live on CNN, @mchancecnn and his team inadvertently crouched down next to an unexploded grenade at the scene of burned out Russia military vehicles and bodies, but then calmly stepped away, adding the Ukrainian military "know what they have been doing"
.@mchancecnn live at the scene of burned out Russians and their military vehicles: "If they thought they were going to come into this country & there was going to be a broad surrender...that was obviously a massive miscalculation on the part of the Kremlin." (5/5)

JACQUI TIME: "There are reports of illegal cluster bombs & vacuum bombs being used by the Russians. If that's true, what is the next step of this administration & is there a red line for how much violence will be tolerated...that's illegal &...a war crime?"
.@JacquiHeinrich: "The new aid that you just laid out...The Post reported over the weekend that this aid will not include stingers, that it would likely come in a future batch of aid. What is the reason for that?"
Psaki: "I'm not going to get into specifics."
.@JacquiHeinrich: "You mentioned that this next batch [of aid] is going to be coming in the next few days. Why so long? I mean, days doesn't sound like a long time to us, but..."
Psaki: "The package that we already announced continues to be delivered."
As news breaks that Putin has decided he will annex two eastern Ukrainian provinces, here's what Putin's English-language bootlickers and toadies are up to over on RT...
Putin stooge on RT: "Hundreds of thousands of ethnic Russians reside in...Donbass. They are trying to break away...They say the Ukrainian government has been discriminatory...oppressive...They're underserved...poor and...not even allowed to speak their own language in schools[.]"
And here's the announcement from Putin puppet Manila Chan on Kremlin's English-language channel RT that Putin will "officially recognize the Donbass region as independent states...He has yet to sign that declaration."
She then moved to a segment about...Jeffrey Epstein.
JACQUI TIME on @PatrickHauf's reporting: "HHS...put out a statement clarifying...reports that crack pipes...would not be part of the safe smoking kits...But can you clarify...were they never a part of the kit? Or were they removed in response to this reporting[?]"
Psaki on @PatrickHauf's @FreeBeacon story about crack pipes: "They were never a part of the kit. It was inaccurate reporting and we wanted to put out information to make that clear."
Psaki: It "may contain alcohol swabs, lip balm, other materials to promote hygiene and reduce the transmission of diseases like HIV and hepatitis....What we're really talking about...is steps...to address the opioid epidemic"
CNN doesn't live to view the tens of millions of conservatives and Republicans as serious human beings.
It doesn't matter what you think of the RNC censure or January 6. It doesn't one bit. They still hate the right.
Of course they're now touting the list of over 100 Republicans (read: Democrats) from that Renew America group that -- let's be honest -- is committed to electing liberal Democrats.
It's a feedback loop -- this Democratic Party outfit called Renew America Movement puts out a letter, those on the payrolls of CNN and MSNBC link up with producers and hosts, they get it on the air with multiple segments about it, and taaa da, we have a manufactured news cycle.
Not gonna share the screenshot so I don't get suspended for copyright violations, but NBC's Mike Tirico gushing over the freestyle skiing venue in China as "visually stunning" when it used to be a steel mill in the middle of a dump is pretty pathetic. #Olympics#GenocideGames
Also, Eileen Gu doesn't deserve a scintilla of support in the U.S. Yes, her roots are in China, but she willingly chose to give up her citizenship to represent a genocidal regime in the #GenocideGames, which means she's backing concentration camps. Sorry, I don't make the rules.
Along with Mike Tirico, the freestyle skiing announcers are ready to canonize Gu and how great she is for China and the rest of the world.
What would be great is if she spoke out against the genocide and human rights violations going on in China. #GenocideGames#Olympics
Asked by @GayleKing "why would we ask those questions...when there are no apparent signs" someone's struggling, @DoctorSueVarma notes it's b/c "when we see people who look so put together, we wonder what it takes to hold it together. All of us see the iceberg effect...only...10%"
