Was doing a followup on a colleague from Kwekwe, whom I shan't name for his own security, who was stubbed at the Yellow Sunday rally, addressed by @nelsonchamisa last Sunday
The story is chilling & leaves you fearful & frustrate beyond anyone's compression
2] His story goes....
He was eventually alerted by commotion behind him, & turned back to saw machete welding men running towards him, randomly hitting CCC supporter.
One of them began chasing him & eventually caught up, & proceeded to tackle him to the ground, where he fell.
3] Once he fell, the man started stabbing him countless times, with a long spear he was holding
His only saving grace was that he fortunately fell on his stomach. Consequently, he was stubbed on his backside
Had he fallen on his back, he would've been stubbed on his stomach
4] Once the perpetrator was satisfied, he left him & began chasing other victims.
For this particular guy, some colleagues eventually accessed him & proceeded to hide him in a toilet, in one of the shops apparently near the rally venue.
Sadly, he lost quite a lot of blood.
5] Eventually, they took him to a nearby clinic, where they couldn't offer much help & adviced he rather be taken to the Kwekwe General Hospital.
As they were being attended, the nurses at KKGH highlighted that he was lucky to still be alive as he had lost too much blood.
6] They eventually attended to him, put him on drip & his life was spared
Here's where the story gets more scary...
One of the nurses advised that his friends take him home as they couldn't guarantee the safety of victims of "political violence"
This is the Midlands experience
7] This is just one of the many stories, of the particular day
Mbobeni wasn't as fortunate
Many others will opt to hide fearing retribution
Many perpetrators of political violence either don't get arrested, or don't get convicted
Their victims live with that extra fear/burden
8] Imagine a country where a political party turns certain areas into their "strongholds", not on the basis of electoral support, but unchallenged authority & criminality
This is the experience of many citizens who dare publicly support Opp parties
This is the legacy of ZanuPF
and saw*
9] I'm told CCC Mbizo candidate Hon Settlement Chikwinya & Dr Madzorera, have been doing followups on all victims & offering medical assistance.
This is worth acknowledging
Apparently, Chikwinya was himself forced to abandon his home midnight, few months back, by Zanupf thugs
10] Now, as if the butcher of Mboneni wasn't horrifying enough to the family, some unknown man have invaded his homstead & forced themselves onto his funeral arrangements
What's their agenda?
What will come out of his postmortem?
How much of this is being coordinated by ZanuPF?
11] And while we try to make sense of all these developments, the same predicament befell CCC rally in Chitungwiza on Sunday.
Other citizen were butchered in Highfield & Epworth.
Would seem like ZanuPF is responding to all CCC rallies with violent attacks.
What's the end game?
12] When you listen to these chilling stories, & then read ZanuPF attempts to trivialise people's experiences, or spin them away, your blood boils with anger.
For some here, the victims are our colleagues, family & friends.
We feel their pain.
Spinning adds salt to our wounds.
13] Sadly, pseudo-analysts are of the illusion that the struggle against ZanuPF is about "policies, philosophy, slogans, party logos" etc
Truth is, this is now a matter of life & death
It's about saving the soul of the country
Unarmed citizens are competing with unhinged devils
14] Fellow citizens, let's normalise checking up on each other.
ZanuPF is becoming more & more desperate
Away from social media & during the night, the devil is unleashed
Those who can, pray
At a time when we can't either blink nor look back, they are baying for blood
enkosi!

True to its identity of being a judicial reconstruct, @OurMDCT through Mwonzora's legendary tactic of using proxies (something he employed against Tsvangirai himself), is now attempting to stop the March 202 by-elections, he caused
2] Great political minds, such as Dr Magaisa, countless times, warned Mwonzora against overplaying the court card, as 'politics is about the voter'!
Whereas admittedly, this isn't rocket science, it would seem like everyone else except Mwonzora, understood this warning.
3] Before looking into the merits of what the DM proxy is asking from the courts...here's some context.
Mwonzora has been a useful ploy, in ED's desperation to destroy @nelsonchamisa
In 2020, the courts upheld a dubious judgement which deligitimised Nero's succession of MRT
"We gathered here today, less than 400 days before the 2023 general elections, 35 or so days before the by-elections. They thought they had dealt us a heavy blow. I warned them, Save left me with a vision of where we are going"
"They claimed our kraal, & we said stay behind with it, together with your herder, Dhakaboy. You can capture the leaders but can never capture the people. You can even entice some people, but the citizens of Zimbabwe will not tire, until change is realised."
"We gather here in Highfield where it all began with nationalists. I'm saying to Mugabe, Nkomo, Dabengwa, Tsvangirai, I'm now carrying your work forward and will complete what you had begun. Thank you citizens for keeping the liberation agenda aglow."
"After a nervy period of unsureness & deliberation, the political midwives eventually attended to the arrival of the CCC on the 24th of Jan 2022. That date earned a place in the history of party politics in Zimbabwe when MDC-A underwent a metamorphosis into CCC"
2] Dr Magaisa:
"Those who live through moments of history do not usually grasp their significance. It's those who look back and therefore have the advantage of hindsight, who can appreciate the weight of such moments."
3] Dr Magaisa
"It was like that hard moment of a farmer realising that although he loves his animal so much, the best option because it is broken beyond healing, is to put it to sleep. That way he spares it the excruciating pain and himself, the agony of watching it suffer."
